This is an informal but very nice whisky tasting. The walk through the four drams of whisky is through and they answer any questions that arise during the tasting. I would do it again if I came back to Edinburgh with friends.

I recently did the Introduction to Whisky Tasting at Whiski Rooms, and it was genuinely one of the highlights of my time in Edinburgh. The setting itself is stunning—right above Princes Street with views of the city and a warm, welcoming atmosphere inside. Our host was incredibly knowledgeable but also made everything really accessible. Just passion! We were guided through four carefully selected single malts, each one from a different region of Scotland, and learned how to nose, taste, and truly appreciate the differences in flavour. What made it special was how interactive and relaxed it felt. You’re not just sipping whisky—you’re learning the stories, the craft, and the heritage behind each one. It gave me such a deeper appreciation for Scotland’s national drink. Highly recommend this experience

It was very fun and after I looked around the shop then had dinner at whiski rooms that was delish! This tasting is the perfect tasting for beginners like myself. I loved it!
