Had a lovely tour on the Castle with my Grandson we absolutely loved our tour guide Toni. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. Unlike the Castle staff themselves
I can't rate the first part of the tour as we got stuck in traffic and missed it. Even though we were late, they were awesome and had someone waiting for us and caught us up to our guide. We got there just in time for the castle grounds part of the tour. Our guide, Joe, was excellent. He made the history very interesting and told several of the myths of the castle. He kept a nice pace and was very easy to understand and a pleasure to listen to. Highly recommend.
A lot of walking on cobblestones and brick walkways. The experience will depend on your guide. Our guide, Joe, was fantastic. He was a great narrator and a great storyteller.
We had a fabulous experience all the way around. Because of the parade and opening of parliament chaos, our original time was delayed and would have ultimately made us late for or miss another booking. Laura got right on it and booked us for a later tour! When we arrived for the rescheduled tour, there was no need to explain what had happened- Laura remembered us and had simply worked her magic. Our tour guide, Robert, was entertaining and knowledgeable. He told stories and shared history throughout the tour. What a great time!
Smiley was a fantastic guide! Loved it! The grounds were amazing. There’s a lot of walking some of it uphill. Highly recommend.
Our Edinburgh Castle tour was outstanding! Our guide was absolutely fantastic—knowledgeable, engaging, and an incredible storyteller. They brought the castle's history to life with fascinating details and stories that made every part of the tour memorable. I learned so much about the history of Edinburgh and Scotland, and the way everything was explained made it easy to follow and genuinely interesting. On top of that, the guide (James) was hilarious and kept the whole group entertained from start to finish. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Edinburgh
90 minutes full of engaging stories about the kings, the queens and the rebels of the castle! Amelie, our guide, was a powerhouse of enthusiasm and knowledge, and she led us to the top of the castle telling tales with unexpected twists and dramatic outcomes. It was so much more interesting to explore the different parts of the castle after learning the history. Don’ t miss it!

I was prepared for a lot of walking on this tour, happily there was not as much as I thought! Very informative and entertaining, definitely recommend! Nice that the groups are not too big
Will was our Guide and he was amazing! He was incredibly knowledgeable and made history fun to listen to which can be hard to do! I noticed a lot of the other Guides as well and was very impressed with the overall caliber of the tour. I highly recommend to anyone that’s in Edinburgh
