Ha en mycket avkopplande tid på den största indiska marknaden i Sydamerika, och utforska Otavalos omgivningar i bekvämligheten av en privat dagstur från Quito! Cayambe ligger i Pichincha-provinsen, bara 70 km norr om Quito, denna stad är välkänd på grund av den otroliga produktionen av rosor för export, omgiven av berg, sjöar, floder och speciellt ekvatorlinjen, Cayambe är ett viktigt turistmål i Ecuador. Avgång kl 8:00 från ditt hotell för att ta den Panamericanska motorvägen, som går genom spektakulära bergslandskap, vilket gör att vi kan njuta av en spektakulär utsikt över människor och samhällen!
Vårt första stopp kommer att vara vid Quitsatos solur för att lära dig mer om ekvatorlinjen och dess inflytande på världen; det finns också ett bra tillfälle att se Cayambe Mountain, den tredje högsta snötäckta vulkanen i landet (18 996 fot).
Innan du går till Otavalo kommer du att besöka en vacker lokal rosengård för att lära dig allt om processen att odla, skörda och exportera rosor, vilket representerar den femte huvudinkomsten för den ecuadorianska ekonomin!
Du kommer att fortsätta din resa för att äntligen komma till Otavalo-marknaden eller "Plaza de Ponchos" som är helt täckt av inhemskt hantverk!
Efter att ha ätit lunch kommer du att besöka byn Cotacachi, känd som "Ecuadors musikhuvudstad", rik på produktion av fina läderverk, som visas och säljs i små butiker som ligger i centrum av staden.
Slutligen, och innan du beger dig tillbaka till Quito, är det omöjligt att undvika besöket i den charmiga kratersjön "Cuicocha", som ligger mitt i den fortfarande aktiva vulkankratern Cotacachi Volcano (4.944 ma.s.l. - 16,220 fot) .

Five stars! Luis went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful time. His local knowledge, enthusiasm, and sense of humor made this one of the highlights of our trip. A remarkable day! Luis picked us up nice and early, taking us around based on the itinerary. All went well. Private tours always give a little more wiggle room and Luis understood our wishes. This was a great tour. The Sundial was fantastic. We were there early and were the only ones. So informative. One of the best little museums I've been to. The rose farm was a small local farm and very informative. Lots of time to do a bit of shopping and lunch was delicious.(not included). Our guide was Omar and he was amazing. Very knowledgable, helpful and flexible. We never felt rushed. I highly recommend this tour.

We had a private tour with Luis! He was very punctual and picked us up with his very clean and comfortable car. It was great talking to him because he knows a lot about Ecuador (historical and geographical) and told us about life in Quito and Ecuador. We made lovely visits to the equator line, a rose farm, otavalo market, the town of cotacachi and the laguna cuicocha. Luis let us decide how long we would like to stay at the different stops, so the tour was tailormade for us! We loved it, thank you so much, it was absolutely worth it and we would recommend it without hesitation!
