Passagerare kommer att hämtas från sitt hotell och föras till Basilica Church, där vår tur börjar.
Vår guide kommer att ge en allmän förklaring utanför kyrkan, sedan om passagerare så önskar kan de gå in i tornen. Basilica of the National Vow är en nygotisk religiös byggnad i Quitos historiska centrum. På grund av dess dimensioner och stil ansågs det vara det största neogotiska templet i Amerika, förutom att det var det högsta religiösa templet i Latinamerika fram till 2017. Det ligger i området som kallas Santa Prisca, på gatorna i Carchi och Venezuela, bredvid oblatfädernas kloster.
Passagerare kommer att överföras från Basilica Church till Independence Square.
Plaza Grande är huvudstadens huvudtorg, Ecuadors politiska och historiska centrum, och den symboliska sätet för Ecuadors president. Det är referenspunkten för stadens höjd, som ligger på 2818 m över havet. n. m. Dess främsta inslag är självständighetsmonumentet, tillägnat självständighetshjältarna den 10 augusti 1809, ett datum som minns som det första ropet av spansk-amerikansk självständighet, som står i mitten.
Vår guide kommer att ge dig en allmän förklaring utanför kyrkan och om passagerare så önskar kan de komma in och en lokal guide ger dem mer information. Företaget är en av de största turistattraktionerna i staden och ett ovärderligt arv, både konstnärligt och ekonomiskt, för landet på grund av dess rika arkitektur och inre utsmyckning, helt täckt med guldplåtar.
Vi kommer att besöka Plaza de San Francisco, detta är det största torget i Quitos historiska stadskärna, det domineras av den imponerande fasaden på kyrkan och klostret i San Francisco, från vilket det har fått sitt namn, och bosätter sig i en av de mest representativa urbana miljöer i staden sedan kolonialtiden, när dess centrala källa försåg invånarna med vatten i århundraden.
Vår guide kommer att rekommendera en typisk restaurang i Quitos historiska centrum där du kan ha tid för lunch. (INGÅR EJ).
Passagerare kommer att överföras från Quitos historiska centrum till Panecillo.
Vi besöker Panecillo, en naturlig höjd på 3 000 meter över havet. På grund av sitt läge har det blivit den viktigaste naturliga utsiktspunkten i staden, varifrån du kan uppskatta den ecuadorianska huvudstadens urbana layout, från dess historiska centrum och mot de norra och södra ändarna. Panecillo kröns av en gigantisk aluminiumskulptur av "Jungfrun från Quito", skapad av spanjoren Agustín de la Herrán Matorras, som var baserad på verket komponerat av Bernardo de Legarda, en av de viktigaste företrädarna för skolan Quito
Passagerare kommer att transporteras från Panecillo till Sitio Intiñan-museet, mitt i världen.
Intiñan Site Museum har en interaktiv rundtur för dig, där du kommer att lära dig från våra förfäders folks historia till de magnifika effekter som solen producerar i vår solcylinder. Res till det förflutna genom de månghundraåriga hyddor, upptäck och förstå jordens fysiska fenomen med våra didaktiska exempel, observera solens väg (Intiñan) i Acoratene, och naturligtvis njut av en naturlig och privilegierad miljö.

Franklin curated a full day trip for 14 of us to enjoy Quito in a day. Even though I organised this day a full 10 months ahead, he took it seriously. He took the trouble to understand my interests and inform me of the nature of the sites and estimate of time required. As requested he provided a very detailed itinerary of sites, times, with flexibility of pre paid & optional entry costs. He included a tasting of local food and drink taking dietary needs into consideration, which was enjoyed by all. He gave us a very interesting synopsis of Ecuador and Quito in particular for the full 45 minutes it took us to reach Mitad del Mundo which was informative & enjoyable. Excellent customer service & efficiency in planning and execution on the day in a comfortable vehicle. His knowledge and historical anecdotes added interest. He also organised efficient and timely transport for 14 to the airport. Thank you, Franklin. Best wishes.

Frank was recommended to us as a professional guide who could show us around Quito. We contacted him at short notice and he agreed to take us out the following day. He did not disappoint as we spent a wonderful day with him! Frank is a professional guide, who is welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and passionate. His command of English put me to shame! He was also a good/safe driver and had a nice/large/clean vehicle. Frank showed us around the sites of Quito, stopping to explain the history, which made it so much more meaningful. We visited some wonderful churches, historical statues and sites. When it started to rain, he knew where to purchase waterproof ponchos to keep us dry, and where we could shelter and rest until the rain stopped. Frank is professional, pleasant, relaxed, and was happy to answer our questions about Quito, and life in Ecuador. He even organised our return transfer to the airport the following day. We spend a wonderful day/evening with Frank, and I could not recommended him highly enough!

Our experience started with airport transfers from Quito airport to The JW Marriott in Quito. Pleasant and lots of information about the city and surrounding area along the way with Wilson. Then next day Franklin shared his passion for Quito with us. His knowledge and passion showed through at each new site and all along the way. We did the 2 day Otovalo experience with an overnight stay in a beautiful historic Hacienda Pinsaqui. Franklin was an amazing guide. He was prompt, informative, knowledgeable and the activities planned were thoughtful and we got to experience some of the real Ecuador. Even when the weather changed and we couldn’t do one of the planned trips, Franklin detoured and we visited the ancient Pyramids at Cochasqui. An amazing historic site. So, If you want authentic, passionate travel in Ecuador then Four Worlds is the way to go.

Franklin is THE best!! He took us to or from the airport 3 times on this trip, and we also did a day tour of Quito with him. He was FANTASTIC! We spent a day in Quito before a trip to Galapagos, and used Franklin and Four Winds as our airport transportation and tour guide in Quito. We had a phenomenal and interesting day with him. Franklin greeted us with a smile, his English is excellent, and he was so friendly and shared so much about his beautiful country with us. We spent a day in Quito at Mitad del Mundo (equator) and Old Town Quito, a UNESCO world heritage site.
