Our family of four had a fantastic tour of Old Town, New Town and Dean's Village with Gerry. This was the perfect way to get a historical overview of the city at the start of our visit. Not only was Gerry knowledgable and engaging, he was very flexible with timing and accomodating to a last minute schedule change. We will definitely be recommending his tour to any friends coming to visit this beautiful city.
Thank you S & C for this great review. We managed to cram so much into our time together; Old Town, New Town, Dean Village and Stockbridge. That's a lot of walking. And if we have flexibility in our diary then we will let you know. It all worked out in the end. Easy to understand, even for foreigners, because Gerry speaks calmly and clearly. He is a true treasure trove of knowledge and is highly recommended. He also knows the small paths alongside the main route as well as an incredible number of stories about houses and buildings, flags, and symbols.

This is one of the best tours I’ve ever been on. My husband and I learned an immense amount in just four hours. The tour operator/guide was so knowledgeable and a pleasure to be with. He made it very comfortable and fun.

A very friendly and personalized 4 hour walking tour sampling history, architecture and culture of New Town and Old Town. Gerry, the tour guide is a very friendly and knowledgeable local, who makes the city come to life with his understanding of history as well as current events. 100% recommend.
