Längs vägen kan du njuta av en noggrant kurerad provning av ikoniska lokala charkuterier, lagrad Parmigiano Reggiano, handgjord pasta och traditionella sötsaker, allt omtänksamt parat med regionala viner. När du promenerar genom historiska gator och livliga torg får du höra berättelser om hantverk, familjetradition och kulinarisk passion som har format Parmas legendariska smaker i århundraden. Vårt första provningsstopp tar oss till en av Parmas äldsta salumerier, där du får prova ett noga utvalt sortiment av regionens mest ikoniska charkuterivaror. Från Prosciutto di Parma till andra traditionella salumi, berättar varje tugga historien om lokalt hantverk och tidsenliga tekniker, allt perfekt i kombination med ett uppfriskande lokalt vin.
När vi fortsätter vandra beger vi oss mot ett av stadens mest ikoniska landmärken, Palazzo della Pilotta, ett stort historiskt komplex som återspeglar Parmas förflutna som en viktig hertiglig huvudstad. Längs vägen stannar vi till vid en äkta ostbutik för att smaka på kungen av Italienska ostar: Parmigiano Reggiano. Här lär du dig vad som gör denna produkt så unik samtidigt som du provar olika lagrade sorter.
Därefter besöker vi ett lokalt bageri för att smaka på en av regionens mest älskade smakrika specialiteter. På Panetteria Anna njuter vi av en läcker remsa erbazzone, ett traditionellt bakverk fyllt med grönt, ost och örter som representerar Emilia-Romagnas vardagsmat.
Strosa genom Piazza Garibaldi, stadens största torg och hjärtat av det offentliga livet, stannar vi vid en av Parmas mest traditionella salumeria-restauranger. Här får du smaka på nygjord pasta, en sann symbol för det lokala köket, tillagad enligt gamla recept som gått i arv i generationer.
Avsluta med en klassisk lokal sötsak från en historisk butik, ett stolt uttryck för Parmas hemtrevliga desserttradition.

We booked our tour online. First - very easy to book, and any inquiries were answered promptly, very precise instructions and links for additional help. Our guide Samantha was exceptional. Samantha was pleasant, bilingual and most of all very knowledgeable of Parma & surrounding areas. The pace of tour was awesome, a real taste of the culture, I even endeavoured in the secret dish, which I will leave for you when you book! One piece of advice - comfy shoes, check the weather and dress appropriately( personally I love the heat) and most of all come with an appetite - guarantee you will not be disappointed.
