Vandringsturen tar dig upp och ner i nätverket av kullerstensgator och bakre gränder som utgör det historiska hjärtat av Gamla Stan i Edinburgh. Turen pågår i cirka två timmar och du kan förvänta dig att se sevärdheter som St Giles Cathedral, Mercat Cross, George Heriot School och Edinburgh Castle (från utsidan). Varje guide som arbetar med oss uppmuntras starkt att utveckla sin egen resväg för att säkerställa att de brinner för berättelserna och historien som de levererar på sin turné. A great tour, full of historical facts and fun! Our tour was during the Fringe so it was very busy, but Jess took us to quieter areas so we could fully enjoy it. Jess was fab, very passionate and knowledgeable about her home city but also interested in our questions. She was super engaging and energetic for the full 2 hours. This tour is the ideal way to start your trip to Edinburgh, would highly recommend.
The tour was great got to wonder around the most emblematic areas of the old town of Edinburgh while Euan our guide told us all about it in a fun, digestible and informative way, perfect combination of history, stories and even some poetry. Would highly recommend.

Matthew is an amazing storyteller. He tells stories vividly, enthusiastically, and you can really tell how much he loves his city and country. We did the tour through the Old Town and learned so many new things about the city. Highly recommended!

Our tour guide was Ben .C, his passion for the tales of John Knox, St Giles, Greyfriars Bobby and others (no spoiler) is what made the tour interesting and the time fly by. Far better than following someone reading a fact sheet. Ben knew his history, in fantastic detail, blending in his own balanced views and nuanced opinions on the Scottish Reformation and encouraging us to have our own.
