Turen låter dig upptäcka den otroliga mångfalden i Chocó molnskog. Denna plats förklarades som ett biosfärområde för sin höga endemism och bräcklighet. Denna plats är värd för olika livsmiljöer där levande arter av flora och fauna är unika i världen. Under turnén kommer du att kunna: - Iaktta och fotografera ett stort antal fåglar. - Gå genom molnskogen - Titta på otroliga landskap - Lär dig om områdets natur och kultur

Denna lilla stad är omgiven av en stor molnskog med flera reservat och många fågeljuveler. Du kommer att utforska området och leta efter nya arter eller bra bilder.
Detta privata reservat har några matningsanläggningar där du enkelt kan titta på och fotografera många kolibrier, tanagers och tukaner (beroende på säsong). Den har en fantastisk utsikt över skogen och landskapet där så småningom kommer en bytesfågel.
Mindo-Nambilo-skogen är ett gigantiskt reservat som ligger i Chocós molnskog. Det är en av de mest varierande platserna i landet med en stor närvaro av timmerträd, bromeliads, orkidéer, ormbunkar, fjärilar, amfibier och fåglar.
Om du väljer alternativet Paz de las aves kommer du att besöka en av de mest kända platserna för fågelskådning i Ecuador och Sydamerika. Turnén börjar med Andean Cock of the Rock i hans lek. Besöket låter dig se och potoghaph denna stora Cotinga-fågel som gör visningen (flera hanar som dansar för honan). Sedan fortsätter turen att leta efter en annan raritet i skogen, men det viktigaste är besöket på några Antpittas platser. Det finns Giant Antpitta (Maria), Yellow-breasted Antpita (Willie), Ochre-breasted antpitta och några andra.

We loved this day trip. The drive is beautiful. The ecosystem, the wonderful time with birds….we loved all the hummingbirds. We also visited Mindo to learn about coffee. Daniel was a wonderful guide.

All the hummingbirds were outstanding!! So much beautiful scenery to all the conservation areas. Our young guide was so knowledgeable and showed us so many that we wouldn’t have been able to find without his sharp eye! Definitely recommend to go on this tour. Our lunch was great with lots of bird feeders right where we were sitting! What a view❤️

This was my second birding trip with Daniel this year and both were exceptional! He knows the best birding spots and his ability to spot and identify the birds is top drawer. I highly recommend him for a wonderful experience.

The local guide was great, but Viator failed to tell him that the hotel for pickup had changed, so there was a delay in him finding me. The phone numbers Viator provided for the local guide company & the Viator numbers were wrong, so that added to the confusion & delay. That said, the local tour guide was very knowledgeable and the excursion was very worthwhile. I did not give 5 stars just because of Viator’s failure. The local guide did a 5 star job.

We travel with my family and nephews. It was the first time I knew the snow. We made a doll and walked to the shelter. It was a magical journey
