jag är Benedetta från @my.bologna! Jag tar dig till de typiska och lokala matmarknaderna. Vi ska shoppa i de bästa matbutikerna i Bologna, dit brukar lokalbefolkningen gå. Vi kommer att smaka på lokal salumi, lokal ost och hemgjord pasta och lokalt vin såklart! Vi kommer också att gå till en speciell gammal inomhusmarknad, där du kan köpa specialiteter från staden att ta med hem! Jag kommer att föreslå dig vad men och hur du lagar det. Vi kommer också att ha fantastisk gelato! Du kommer att njuta av den speciella atmosfären som gör distriktet så speciellt, livligt och energiskt samtidigt som du lär dig mer om saker du inte får missa när du besöker Bologna. Vi kommer att besöka marknaden med några stopp för att prova traditionell lokal mat och för att köpa några specialiteter!
Vi kommer också att besöka stadens gamla medeltida marknad med stopp för att köpa traditionell mat (parmesan, prosciutto, mortadella, balsamic ... allt annat du skulle köpa!) Och ha några stopp för att prova typisk bolognisk mat och lokalt fantastiskt vin!

Great great tour! Tour came recommended by people we trust and it did not disappoint. She gives you history, what to avoid and why they do things the way they do. She was able to accommodate someone with a food allergy perfectly! We felt like we understood the food history of Bologna in one afternoon. Highly recommend!!!
4 main stops for food, can buy half portions to manage the volume of food! Stops along the way to highlight attractions.
Great experience with Valentina. Her English and knowledge were excellent. The pace was just right, and the products we tried were the right size, leaving us wanting more.
Lovely host who was so friendly and informative. We had a great time and loved all the food. The tortellini and piadina were amazing!
My teenagers, husband and I went in April 2025 and had Sonia for a tour guide. She was very interesting. The key to this tour is that it is inexpensive but when you get to the stalls, you pay for what you want to eat. So if you have a kid that doesn't want to try something, you don't have to pay for it. We got to try home made tortellini, sfogliata sandwiches, gelato and one other bread and meat item. You visit 2 markets and 4 tastings. This is 1/2 the cost of most tours but I don't think it gave much insight to Bologna.
Had a good time but would not recommend for 40€. More worth like 20€. No real insights or hidden secrets. Tour would be more appreciated if there would be real discounts on bought foods - queuing for the most popular icecream is not a real food tour
Benedetta was amazing! The tour was intimate and we really got to explore all of the local markets and cuisine. We tried some delicious traditional foods that are unique to the region. She also taught us some local history and gave us recommendations for restaurants.
It was a great experience and we learned far more than promised. A definite must for all foodies and non-foodies.
We thoroughly enjoyed this experience with Benedetta who shared her enthusiasm & extensive local food knowledge with us all. We started with strawberry tasting grapes , moved onto piadina’s , tortellini in broth , tigella and finally the best gelato in town . We hadn’t realised that food wasn’t included in the tour - husband booked & has zero attention to detail 🙄. So you just buy food as you tour around with Benedetta , if you just want to have a small taste she arranges for you to share a portion , it’s no problem . I see people moaning about this - don’t , you are tapping into her extensive local knowledge & you should absolutely try everything suggested. I really appreciated that as a vegetarian Benedetta ensured that at every stop I had a great option . We received email details of everywhere we stopped as well as restaurant recommendations. Do this tour it will serve you well to find the top spots in this great foodie city.
This was an outstanding tour Ben is an excellent guide. It focuses mainly on food but the attendee buys how much of what you want to try. It worked really well. I highly recommend.
