Du kan delta i olika aktiviteter som att vandra i molnskogen, fjärilsfarm, kolibrifotografering, många fågelarter, vattenfall i Nambillo-floden. mycket roligt och äventyr med lite extra aktiviteter i Mindofloden. Vår Mindo Cloud Forest Day Tour börjar klockan 08:00 i Quito när vi färdas nordväst genom Pichincha-provinsen och upplever en mängd olika klimatzoner längs vägen. Vårt första stopp blir vid vulkanen Pululahua, där vi kommer att njuta av en panoramautsikt över den majestätiska kratern. Här kan vi observera ett varierat utbud av inhemska växter, inklusive bromeliader, orkidéer och flera medicinska arter.
Vill du mata kolibrier från dina händer? Detta är den perfekta platsen för det! Du kommer också att stöta på tukaner och tanagers vid matarna. Agoutis, ekorrar, orkidéer och bromeliader är alla en del av denna fantastiska upplevelse. Ta med kikare och en kamera med bra zoom.
Efter fågelskådning i San Tadeo kommer vi fram till Mindo stad och omedelbart går vi till fjärilsfarmen där vi kommer att lära oss om fjärilarnas anatomi, reproduktion, i deras naturliga tillstånd. Kolibrimatare är det bästa alternativet i en liten stig om du är intresserad av fotografering.
Vi fortsätter vår resa till molnskogen där vi kommer att vara en del av några stigar till vattenfallsvägen. En kort bilresa från Mariposas de Mindo till Cascadas Nambillo. Väl där tar vi en linbana för att passera till en annan del av molnskogen och ta en vandring till vattenfallet Nambillo eller ruta de las Cascadas (vattenfallsvägen). Det kommer att ta oss runt 1.30 timmar. Vi är redo för lunch på en fantastisk, lugn och vacker plats.
Slutligen och efter lunch har vi en avkopplande aktivitet. det är att lära, provsmaka, den bästa artesanala chokladen du bryr dig inte om. Yumbos är den bästa platsen i Mindo för det. Vi är redo att åka tillbaka till Quito

This tour was fantastic. We were given options for our day based on our personal preferences so that everything was exactly what we wanted. It is hard to imagine that we fit so much in to one day. We stopped to visit a dormant volcano, picked up some fresh bread to share during our ride. Pato took us to see so many wonderful tanagers and hummingbirds. We were able to feed the hummingbirds out of our hand, what a wonderful experience. We took a cable car ride went on a hike to a waterfall and then went to lunch at a wonderful restaurant where we could view more birds and the food was excellent. We were given a wonderful tour at a butterfly farm where we saw more birds and finally a chocolate tour and tasting before our ride back to Quito. If I could rate this tour higher than a 5/5 I would. A wonderful day.

It's a really full day full of wonderful experiences. Pato is an excellent guide, very knowledgeable and excellent company. The volcanic crater, the birds, the butterflies, the cloud forest and waterfall, the artisan chocolate making, even the lunch spot were all fantastic.

A great day with a great guide in Pato. Everything was spectacular - the volcano crater, the birds, the butterflies, the cloud forest and waterfall and the artisan chocolate making at the end. And the lunch spot. And it's a full day. More than ten hours but the time flew by.

In late May 2026, I took a tour with Ecuador a Color and could not be any more pleased. The places we visited were beautiful, not crowded with tourists, and represented what I felt was the true essence of the Ecuadorian countryside outside of the environs of Quito. We visited a wonderful bird sanctuary, butterfly conservatory, forest / jungle with waterfalls, among other very interesting / non-commercialized locales. My guide was Galindo and I highly recommend him for your tours. Knowledgeable, engaging, well informed and a good guy for great conversation!

I had the best trip to Mindo with Pato! What a fantastic guide. Knowledgeable about all aspects of the region and Ecuador in general. Wonderful visits to see hummingbirds, birds, and butterflies. Lots of orchids too! Great waterfall hike and fantastic lunch stop. I like that all visits were to locally owned and operated businesses. Pato’s English is superb and his driving is top notch. I highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to go to the Mindo cloud forest.

This is a full day experience with a great mix of sights and activities. This is a great way to get out of the city and see the natural beauty of the surrounding mountains and forests and get close to the wonderful hummingbirds and butterflies native to the area. Ismael was very knowledgeable and flexible in adjusting the itinerary to my interest. I found that the driving time was well occupied by a very interesting conversation with Ismael that provided me with many insights to life in Ecuador as well as the sights we were seeing. This made the tour an excellent introduction to the country on a much broader scale than I expected. I finished the day with a very good impression of Ecuador as well as good recommendations for activities to be pursued thereafter. All in all a great tour to get a feel of the nature of the area but the highlight was all background knowledge and cultural information gleaned from my conversations with the guide.

The trip was marvelous. Carolina was an excellent guide, extremely knowledgeable, supplemented her information with photos, maps and other supplemental material. She clearly lives her country and her job. She made sure we were safe, comfortable and well cared for. We did a short hike to a waterfall but the climb back up was a bit strenuous for some in our group, especially at altitude. She encouraged rest, water and made them feel good about the hike. Eduardo was our driver and he did an outstanding job as well
