Lafayette was our tour guide, very funny and eccentric character. My cardiologist forbids me from doing another - manchester and germany

The length of the visit was just right, the tour guide bot funny and educated we all had a great time and james the guide had amazing knowledge and told it in a way for all age groups. My son who’s 17 loved the tour my daughter 18 really enjoyed herself. This type of tour is exactly what i was looking forward to and it did not disappoint. The fee for the tour is a grat price for the length of the tour. I would highly recommend if really does give you a good insight to Edinburgh the old part.
I don’t even know where to begin- our tour guide had exceeded any expectations- he arrived in costume and stayed in character even during moments that would’ve broken our character. He was engaging, hilarious and well known on everything we talked about. If you’re going to go on this tour- ensure James Douglas is your guide and you will not be disappointed with your experience!

We did our tour with Major Weir who was most entertaining and told us many spooky ghost stories along the way, mixed with historical facts which were quite gruesome but captivating. Thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Major Weir
Lafayette was great. He reaches all ages and is very interactive with everyone. From his greatest California fans.
We went on the afternoon tour with our 5 and 8 year old and were lucky to have Fairie Wife as our guide. She was such an engaging storyteller, and was good with our kids the whole time. Fairie Wife’s stories took us back in time so that we can visualize what it was really like. She was able to tell us ghost stories based on the level of scariness that we wanted. Highly recommended for adults and children alike, and those who want spookier also. Thank you and hello from the Grandy family from Canada!
We were lead by "Agnus Sampson" a witch. We went underground and learned some dark history and then above ground some more. Easy walk and fun guide.
