Bij Pico Wine Museum zal Fábio een bron van informatie zijn en al uw vragen beantwoorden. Hier kunt u de hele geschiedenis van de wijnproductie van Pico Island zien en voelen.
Laat u door een UNESCO Werelderfgoedlandschap leiden met een juiste uitleg over de bijzonderheden van dit Unieke Terroir. Samen met Fábio is het mogelijk om enkele wijngaarden binnen te gaan die niet zonder begeleiding mogen, de meeste behoren tot Adega do Vulcão waar Fábio vroeger de wijnmaker was.
Proef 3 wijnen van Adega do Vulcão, gemaakt door Fábio Rocha, de voormalige wijnmaker van Art of Wine. Solar Terra Brum/Solar dos Salemas is een klein paleis waar u kunt genieten en proeven van de eeuwenoude Pico-wijngeschiedenis.

I struggled to find the words to describe what an amazing experience my husband and I had with Fabio on April 22. Fabio's passion and true love of wine shines through in every part of this experience. He has curated an incredible tour that allows you to learn about the history of wine-making in the Azores, see unique vineyards like nowhere else in the world, and has ensured every sip of wine you taste is delicious and unlike anything you have tasted before. We visited and saw multiple vineyards, saw local landmarks, tasted incredible wine, learned about the relationship between the islands, visited the stunning Pico wine museum, and Fabio made a point to offer us the option of an incredible local lunch for an additional fee. It was honestly our favorite day of the vacation and we enjoyed it so much we immediately started telling friends and family about the tour so they could book in the future to have a magical experience just like we did. Fabio's joy comes through in everything he does, and we cannot wait to taste more wines from this fabulous winemaker in the future. It was a privilege and pleasure to spend a day learning from him. If you have any interest in history and wine, you will not be disappointed by this tour - he truly went above and beyond to give us the best personalized experience possible.
We had a great time with Fabio on a half day wine tour. Fabio is a pationate wine maker, he told us everything about the wine history in Pico. And what a story! A must experience wine tour on pico island. Fabio is extremely passionate and knowledgeable about the regions wine and general wine making. It was so informative and a really beautiful way to experience the beauty and literal art of wine. The wine itself was exceptional and many of them rare. So it was definitely a one of a kind tour! We had such a wonderful time and cannot wait to bring our family and friends the next time we visit.
During the tour we not only got information about the wines and how they are made, but also about the island. Fabio is a friendly winemaker and captivates you with his relaxed and pleasant manner while he talks. The wine tasting and lunch were great and really authentic.
We have had an half day tour and learned a lot about the wine industrie and the history behind it on Pico and Fajal. It was very fun to learn so much about the stories behind it and how it all started a long time ago. Fabio is very passioned about his job, the island and the wine. The stories behind every single on of them made it even more special! It was amazing and I would really recommend this tour when you are at Pico!! You can even walk or Fabio takes you around by car, so pretty much everyone can participate. It is a very lovely way to relax a bit during the active stay on Pico. And afcourse we did not leave without one of the tasteful wines we had!
