Onze gidsen zijn allemaal professionele en gecertificeerde Pico-berggidsen met ervaring in het hooggebergte en behoren tot AGMA – Association of Azores Mountain Guides. De gids houdt tijdens de klim voortdurend uw welzijn in de gaten door naar u te kijken, met u te praten en klaar te staan om in te grijpen als dat nodig is. Je zult op de hoogte zijn van de interessante feiten over de vulkaanformatie en zijn geologie, fauna en flora, altijd met een goed humeur en motivatie van de meest ervaren gidsen van het eiland. Wees klaar voor de beste dag van uw reis! Annuleringsbeleid: Na het boeken sturen wij u ons annuleringsbeleid. Wij kunnen flexibel zijn in verschillende situaties.

- Alle deelnemers moeten in goede fysieke conditie zijn en motorische coördinatie hebben. Informeer Tripix Azoren over eventuele lichamelijke beperkingen, waaronder problemen met de onderste ledematen, duizeligheid, geestelijke gezondheid, hartproblemen, astma, diabetes, zwangerschap of andere gezondheidsproblemen.

Salvé 15 June It was a brutal day, full of overcoming, companionship, challenges and experiences that will last forever. We were full of heart and sure it was worth every step and every shared story. Matteo, more than a super guide was a fantastic travel companion. We thank purifying for the incredible experience of climbing the Peak Mountain. His professionalism, patience, sympathy and extensive knowledge gave us the confidence, security and strength to reach the top. Despite the weather conditions we have managed to arrange for another date and did the climb. Tour and our guide Bruno were very helpful. Hope we will climb again in a better weather.

The climb to the peak with overnight stay was absolutely spectacular! An unforgettable experience with amazing landscapes and a unique connection with nature. Our guide, Mateo, was simply fantastic — very attentive, always well disposed and did everything to make the moment really magical. We always felt accompanied, motivated and safe throughout the adventure. I recommend this experience to all those who like nature, hiking and outdoor adventure. Really worth it!

The ascent of Pico was a challenge. Don't be fooled by the relatively low altitude (2350 m). In most sections the road is rough, strewn with numerous stones of cooled lava, and the last 30-40 meters is a very steep cone, which you literally have to climb. And if we add that the top is almost always shrouded in fog, the markings are not very visible.
Thank you for sharing your experience! You described Pico very accurately - despite its altitude, the mountain can indeed be quite demanding due to the volcanic terrain, steep sections, and rapidly changing weather conditions.
