Zodra we bij de 18e mijl op Kokee Road aankomen, stoppen we om vanaf het uitkijkpunt het prachtige landschap van de Kalalau-vallei en de kust van Na Pali te aanschouwen
Dit prachtige strand wordt door The Travel Channel uitgeroepen tot America's Best Beach. Poipu Beach is eigenlijk twee stranden in één. Een tombola (bekend als Nukumoi Point) scheidt de twee baaien. Geniet van wat vrije tijd op het strand en misschien zie je de grote schildpadden!
Deze natuurlijke plek is goed bereikbaar en je hoeft er niet veel voor te lopen. De legende gaat dat deze betoverende waterval de plek was waar Hawaiiaanse kane (mannen) hun uithoudingsvermogen zouden testen door de bijna 80 voet in het ondiepe 30 voet zwembad beneden te springen
Deze prachtige schilderachtige plek staat bekend als "The Grand Canyon of the Pacific". De Waimea Canyon Lookout, die 14 mijl lang, 1 mijl breed en meer dan 3600 voet diep is, biedt een panoramisch uitzicht op crested buttes, ruige rotsen en diepe valleikloven.

This tour is a must! Our guide Steve picked us up at the cruise port and took us to all the most beautiful spots! We had mixed mobility abilities and all could participate. This was my favorite tour in Hawaii!!

Orlando was great. He kept us on a tight schedule for our 6 hour tour to ensure we did not miss our flight out. He brought us to all the key lookouts and beautiful views. There was a little confusion on pick up time and the website is not the most user friendly, but those were minor issues that paled in comparison to the knowledge and friendliness of the tour guide.

Visiting Waimea Canyon was beautiful and the main highlight of the tour. Visitors to Kauai should certainly go see it. Another notable site was Spouting Horn, which is nice as well. After that we visited Kauai Coffee and the botanical gardens but it was too late in the day to actually visit the gardens and we were informed they were three miles away so we were left with touring the gift shop instead. I rated the tour “average” because I want to be charitable, but charging $1700 for this tour is really unconscionable and I truly regret signing up for this tour. I really feel as though we’ve been ripped off. I cannot in good conscience recommend anyone pay that much money for what we saw. I’m certainly happy to support local business, but in this instance you would be better off renting a car and just going to the places I listed above on your own—it would be a personal adventure with good memories and no regrets.
The experience was well worth the price, and Orlando was an awesome host/driver. He made the day exceed our expectations.
