Je kunt Kauai niet verlaten zonder een authentieke luau-ervaring, en om er een te krijgen hoef je ons alleen maar te bezoeken op de nieuwste, meest opwindende en authentieke luau op het eiland. Voor de oude koninklijke surfgronden. Luau Ka Hikina nodigt je uit om een onvergetelijke avond te beleven waarin de Hawaiiaanse en Polynesische cultuur wordt gevierd, compleet met een lokaal geproduceerd, traditioneel Hawaiiaans feestmaal met een modern standpunt en livemuziek. Van de indrukwekkende fakkelaansteekceremonie die de festiviteiten van de avond aftrapt tot de betoverende hula kahiko (oude hoela) dansen die worden uitgevoerd onder leiding van een bekroonde kumu hula (hoelameester) Leilani Rivera Low.

Hele Mai (welkom) Inchecken begint om 17.00 uur en de zitplaatsen beginnen om 17.30 uur (wie het eerst komt, wie het eerst zit door de gastheren). Zodra u naar uw zitplaatsen wordt gebracht, kunt u voorafgaand aan de openingsceremonie genieten van culturele activiteiten en lokale verkopers. Geniet van gedeelde zitplaatsen met een aankomstlei-groet en Mai Tai/Fruit Punch-welkomstdrankje. Hosted Open Bar is beschikbaar tot de voorstelling begint. Vervoer is niet inbegrepen of voorzien.

This Luau was incredible! The food was amazing and the show was spectacular! I would definitely go again.

Tha luau was very nice. Food was average, but plenty of it. We enjoyed the entertainment as it was historical in nature. Good performers.
There is non stop entertainment. The host/emcee kept the audience occupied. There were hands on activities like learning to twirl the Pao balls or play the drums and bamboo stick. The show was in 2 parts. For intermission, the audience were fed. The open bar was very generous with the drinks. You can go home feeling good because of the drinks. If you haven’t tried the Blue Hawaiian drink, you should try it. The drink is named Blue Hawaiian but the color of the drink is green. For some reason the blue curaçao turns green when mixed. Anyway, the emcee also recognized the couples celebrating their anniversary. There was a moment in the show where couples can dance to the music of Elvis Presley’s “Can’t Help Falling in Love”. It’s an evening to remember. The length of the entire event was perfect. There was never a dull moment. The night we came was pretty much a full house. Come early so you can get a good seat. We sat close to the stage you can see the dancers sweating. Check Viator. They had the best price.
This was my husband’s first trip to Hawaii and our first luau. We were blown away by how quickly we were made to feel like ohana, the professional entertainment and the coordinator of the food. What a huge feat but it was done with such fun, love and kindness, we will be returning! My highlight was listening to Leilani Rivera and meeting her at the end of the luau💖🌺
This event offered a great atmosphere, talented dancers and musicians, and delicious food and drinks. We enjoyed the whole experience and would highly recommend it to anyone who comes to Kauai.
