De 5 uur durende Private Kauai Eastside Waterfalls en Local Grinds tour is een perfecte mix van prachtige natuurgebieden, geschiedenis en lokale gerechten proeven. Dit is geen food tour maar eerder een prachtige melange van het bezoeken van schilderachtige plekken aan de oostkant van Kauai en het proeven van verschillende gerechten onderweg. Leun achterover en geniet van de rit op onze schone voertuigen met airconditioning terwijl we de verhalen van onze eilanden met u delen, gemengd met een vleugje humor. U bezoekt watervallen, een prachtig strandpark, archeologische vindplaatsen en proeft lokaal gemaakt gebak en chocolade. We lunchen in de historische Kapaa stad, waar je veel keuze hebt uit foodtrucks en smoothie bars tot restaurants. Neem de dag vrij van het rijden, een dag van ontdekking wacht op u! Dit is een moeder- en dochterbedrijf met meer dan 17 jaar ervaring op het eiland. Al je aankopen tijdens deze tour ondersteunen lokale moeder- en popwinkels. We kijken ernaar uit om onvergetelijke ervaringen met u te creëren.

We ontmoeten al onze reizigers bij de Kauai Bakery. Het is tijd om de juiste stemming voor de dag te creëren met een inleiding tot de legendarische Portugese donuts die bekend staan als malasadas. Maak je klaar voor een heerlijke zoete traktatie. Koffie en andere hartige lekkernijen zijn ook te koop. Zorg dat je om 8.00 uur aanwezig bent, zodat je tijd hebt om te genieten van koffie en gebak voordat de tour begint.
Dit is geen gewone vijver, het is een vijver van jura-formaat, gebouwd in de oudheid door de eerste bewoners van Hawaï, de mensen van de Marquesaseilanden. Bewonder de prachtige omgeving terwijl we je door het Kipu Kai-gebied rijden. Leer meer over de fascinerende legende van de Menehunes, het archeologische en culturele belang van de vijver. In dit gebied zijn veel Hollywood-films opgenomen. We stoppen in twee gebieden om veel foto's te maken.
Last but not least is het tijd om nog een waterval te bezoeken, want watervallen kun je nooit genoeg hebben. De iconische Wailua Falls was te zien in de openingsscène van de Fantasy Island tv-show. Je hebt voldoende tijd voor foto's. De perfecte afsluiting voor een rondreis.
Tijd om een wandeling te maken over het pad langs het prachtige Lydgate Beach Park, waar u kunt genieten van uw voeten in de beroemde Morgan Ponds, meer te weten kunt komen over de oude tempel van aanbidding waar Hawaïanen dagelijks de rijzende zon begroetten, de toevluchtsstad, en meer. Dit is een vrijetijdswandeling voor alle leeftijdsgroepen. je hebt veel fotomogelijkheden.
Bij deze halte wandelt u naar twee locaties: Opaekaa Falls en het uitkijkpunt Wailua River, gelegen in de stad Wailua, waar de Hawaiiaanse royalty in de oudheid leefde. Hier wachten prachtige uitzichten en veel fotomomenten op u.
Stop bij Kauai's eersteklas chocolatier en proef de vele smaken die uw zintuigen zeker zullen prikkelen. Alle chocoladerepen worden op het eiland gemaakt van cacaobonen die op Kauai worden geteeld.
Rijd door het achterland van Wailua Homesteads op weg naar Kapaa stad. Geniet van een prachtig uitzicht op Mount Waialeale, Kauai's hoogste berg, en het centrum van het eiland. Kijk waar de lokale bevolking woont.
Geniet van een lunch in het historische Kapaa stad waar u vele keuzes van lokaal gemaakt voedsel, van food trucks tot restaurants vindt. Ook beschikbaar zal zijn fruit stands, smoothie en koffiebars, en shave ijs. We houden van eten en hopen dat jij dat ook doet.
Last but not least nemen we je mee op een heerlijke rit over Kapaas bypass road. Geniet van het uitzicht op onze beroemde Slapende Reuzenberg, terwijl we het verhaal delen van deze mythische man die in de oudheid de dag redde voor het gewone volk.

- Deze tour vindt in zijn geheel plaats aan de oostkant van Kauai. Je bezoekt de steden Lihue, Wailua en Kapaa
- Er zullen voldoende toiletstops zijn. Twee van de haltes beschikken echter wel over faciliteiten
- Wij bieden verschillende lunchmogelijkheden. Als u uw dag wilt aanpassen laat het ons weten.

Coco was a delight and toured us to great sights in Kauai. She knew the local grinds vendors so we had delicious banana bread, macadamia and chocolate tastings, and shopping. The Poke lunch with Coco was fabulous. The waterfalls and views in Kauai were amazing! Coco spoke loud and clear which was welcome since from the back of the van it could be difficult to hear. Thank you for a memorable Kauai adventure!!
A definite must-do tour. Coco Maria was an excellent guide, made it a lot of fun, and really knows the history of the island. Definitely worth the price.
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Coco. She told us the history of the island while making it a fun experience. Coco was very accommodating to our family and made sure we spent the time we wanted at each site. She encouraged us to get out and explore all of the places we didn't see on the tour. I am glad she did because, the next 2 days, we drove to the Westside and Northside of the island, stopping at all of the famous spots. We highly recommend touring with Kauai Soul.

What an amazing tour!!! Koko and Shasta made our multi-generational family trip special. We went to Kauai to celebrate my daughter’s birthday, and once I spoke with Koko she helped to plan an amazing tour that incorporated what my daughter wanted to do and her grandparent’s interests . We got to see so much of the island, take pictures and be immersed in the history, culture and beauty of the island. It was fantastic. Book your tour asap. It was a wonderful experience. We even had time to go to a farmers market to get fresh fruit! Shasta our tour guide made my daughter feel so special, and she was a wealth of information. The 5 hour short and sweet was the perfect excursion to experience Kauai’s breathtaking waterfalls and beaches. Our guide Coco pointed out many historic spots too and her love of the island was contagious.
