Grijp je kans om enkele van de meest populaire bestemmingen van Armenië te ontdekken tijdens deze privétour vanuit Jerevan. Bewonder de schoonheid van de bijbelse berg Ararat met "Yerani Travel" van de dichtstbijzijnde plek die mogelijk is en de zogenaamde "blauwe edelsteen" van de Armeense bergen - het meer van Sevan. Deze tour zal je ook laten kennismaken met de exotische Paganistische geschiedenis van Armenië, en de latere ontwikkeling en verspreiding van het christendom in het land laten zien.

Een klooster gelegen op ongeveer een uur rijden van Jerevan, dat een prachtig uitzicht biedt op Armenië's bepalende symbool - de majestueuze berg Ararat. “Khor Virap” betekent “diepe kerker”, en werd gebouwd van de plaats van de voormalige koninklijke gevangenis, gelegen op de historische site van Artashat. Het was deze gevangenis waarin ze Gregorius de Verlichter, de eerste Armeense Catholicos, een hele 13 jaar vasthielden.
De enige staande heidense tempel in het hele post-Sovjetgebied. De tempel staat sierlijk op een hoogvlakte met uitzicht op de Azat-rivierkloof. De omgeving zelf is ongelooflijk mooi. Het Grieks-Romeinse badhuis met het mozaïek, gemaakt van 30.000 stukken natuursteen, evenals de ruïnes van het koninklijk paleis, brengt je naar de 3e eeuw na Christus.
Garni Gorge is een prachtige natuurlijke attractie gelegen in Armenië, in de buurt van het dorp Garni. Het staat ook bekend als de "Symfonie van Stenen" vanwege de unieke rotsformaties die een prachtige symfonie van kleuren en vormen creëren. * Het bezoek aan de Symfonie van Stenen is onder voorbehoud van weersomstandigheden.
De volgende halte van de tour is het kloostercomplex van Geghard. In het Engels vertaald als “Monastery of the Holy Lance”, verwijst het naar de lans waarmee Longinus Jezus doorboorde. Later naar Armenië gebracht en 5 eeuwen in het Geghardklooster bewaard. Het meest verbazingwekkende is de deugd van de architect, die de kerk recht in de massieve rots hakte.
Het Sevanmeer, vaak aangeduid als "Het juweel van Armenië", is het grootste zoetwatermeer in de Kaukasus, gelegen op een indrukwekkende hoogte van 1.900 meter boven zeeniveau. De prachtige natuurlijke schoonheid en serene omgeving maken het een topbestemming voor zowel de lokale bevolking als toeristen.
Een klooster gelegen op het schiereiland van het meer van Sevan, van waaruit men vanaf de top een onvergetelijk panoramisch uitzicht op het meer kan bewonderen.

The scenery we stopped was amazing. Lake sevan was beautiful, also Khor Virap and other places we visited. The driver was also kind and thoughtful, although the stop in each places was limited, i had plenty of time and didn’t feel rushed at all.

Our driver/guide Mr. Arud (not sure if I spell that correctly) was very pleasant, explained every location very well and drove us safely one place to the other. We took 3 days tour with Yerani travels from Yerevan covering most popular places in Armenia. The tour was well organized and the service was excellent. I would like to specially mention our tour guide Armina as she is very professional and explain the history of the places well so that the feel is different. Her food suggestion like homemade lunch was awsome. Also our tour manager Lillit understands the guest requirement very well hence the trip arrangements were hazel free and our driver Karen was very nice and supportive. Overall our experience with Yerani travels was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour in Armenia!

My husband and I took a private day trip to Choir Virap, the Stone Symphony and the Temple of Garni. Booked literally overnight, but everyone arranged very quickly. We were met outside our hotel this morning, guide and driver. Guide Narine is a very professional guide, the story began with Yerevan. It tells a fascinating story about the history and culture of Armenia and the places where we were during the day. We highly recommend her as your guide. Plus, she recommended a great restaurant with national cuisine and a beautiful view of the gorge. You don't find that in Yerevan. It's been a great and busy day!
Armenia is beautiful! How much I wanted to see, but how few days we have. Decided we wanted to see Glee Virap - Garney Gerard - Sevan. There was no such group tour and we decided to book an individual tour. The price doesn't bite, plus two of us, and the gift is wine. That's great! No regrets. Comfortable, plus we saw everything we wanted, and also in pleasant company - both driver and tour guide Anya we really liked. Very good consistency - our impressions were escalating. Gerard and Sevan really liked it - it's something everyone needs to see. Although Garney and Glee Virap are. Even though Ararat didn't strike us, the day was wonderful. Finished it with a delicious sig fish. Anya's special thanks are easy, fun, active and charming. The driver of Osep is polite and experienced. Very comfortable seats in the car. Thanks to the managers for organizing. Let's recommend it to our friends.
