Onze tours worden geleid door een klein lokaal familiebedrijf met meer dan 20 jaar ervaring in het veld. Dit is geen gewone tour. We maakten deze ervaring alsof we erop afgingen. Wij geloven in kwaliteit boven kwantiteit, en we willen meer leveren dan waar u van droomde. Zorg ervoor dat u ons laat weten of u uw ervaring wilt aanpassen. Onze tours ondersteunen kleine Kauai bedrijven. Onze excursie bezoekt verschillende uitkijkposten bij de beroemde mini Grand Canyon van de Stille Oceaan, de krachtige Spuithoorn, de adembenemende Kalalau Valley uitkijkpost (als het weer het toelaat) en charmante Hanapepe stad. Geniet van vers gemaakte lekkernijen bij een lokale bakkerij (optioneel), en lokaal geproduceerde lunch in de berg. Neem de dag vrij van het rijden en zie Kauai door lokale ogen. Wij bieden gratis hotel (alleen in het zuiden en oosten), de luchthaven en de haven ophalen en afzetten. Gasten uit het noorden ontmoeten ons in Kapaa op een centrale locatie TBA. Deze prachtige groene vallei is de perfecte inleiding tot de Waimea Canyon. Het is gedeeltelijk eigendom van de familie Robinson en het huis van Jurassic Falls. We stoppen hier ongeveer 5-10 minuten om foto's te maken.
Tijd om een stap terug in de tijd te zetten en een bezoek te brengen aan Historisch Hanapepe, nieuw leven ingeblazen na de Tweede Wereldoorlog en omgetoverd tot een kunstzinnige oase. Hier kunt u genieten van vers gemaakte lokale gebakjes en drankjes, wandelen over de swingende brug die de Hanapepe rivier oversteekt, gebouwd in 1912, een bezoek brengen aan enkele kunstgaleries en winkelen voor lokaal gemaakte souvenirs en ambachten. Als je van Lilo en Stich houdt, dan is dit de stad die de film inspireerde. Hanapepe is een authentieke stad vol historische charme, in tegenstelling tot alle andere op Kauai.
Waimea Canyon State Park is een van Kauai's natuurlijke wonderen, bekend als de mini Grand Canyon van de Stille Oceaan. Bewonder dit geologische juweeltje vanaf verschillende uitkijkpunten terwijl we de berg beklimmen tot ongeveer 3800 'hoogte. We stappen op verschillende locaties uit het busje voor geweldige fotomomenten. De hoofduitkijkpost van de Canyon is gesloten voor restauratie tot december 2025. Houd er rekening mee dat de Canyon ongeveer 15 mijl lang en 2 mijl breed is, daarom kunt u nog steeds genieten van een fenomenaal uitzicht vanaf vele plekken als u de Canyon weg op gaat. Majestueuze schoonheid op zijn best!
We beklimmen de berg verder langs het Waimea Canyon State Park om het hoge bos van Kokee te verkennen. Als het weer het toelaat (Niet gegarandeerd) zult u zich vergapen aan de adembenemende Kalalau Vallei uitkijk, de grootste vallei van de beroemde Nepalese kust. We stoppen voor de lunch in de Kokee Lodge, oorspronkelijk gebouwd in de jaren 1930 als jachthuis. Hun eten is gemaakt met lokaal geteelde ingrediënten en het smaakt naar thuis.
Last but not least in onze agenda bezoeken we de Spuithoorn in Poipu. Deze prachtige natuurlijke schoonheid is het product van een inmiddels uitgedoofde vulkaan; een waterblaasgat dat hoogtes kan bereiken tot wel 6 meter. Ervaar de kracht van de natuur als het water spuit als een geiser. Op onze weg uit Poipu rijden we door de beroemde Tree tunnel.

Coco Maria was super fun and friendly. She has an awesome vibe and sense of humor, which made our day even more fantastic. We saw lots of great sights and had a full day of exploring. She had a few hidden treats up her sleeve and we really appreciated her knowledge and planning ahead that she had done. Highly recommend them!
We did a private tour today on Kauai. We had a great guide, Shasta, that gave us a great, fun tour and had amazing knowledge of the area. We went to the Spouting Horn, Hanapepe Valley Lookout and the small town, stopped at a little bakery to try their donuts. Waimea Canyon State Park, (they call it the little Grand Canyon) Koke’s State Park but the cloud cover was unfortunately too much to see anything, and after lunch we drove through where Jurassic Park and the first Indiana Jones were filmed. Great day with amazing views. We were able to customize the trip and Shasta was very accommodating in what we wanted to see. We would highly recommend Kauai Soul Travel and Shasta.

Shasta is very sweet, kind and funny. She took us patiently to all the scheduled stops, identified important spots to take photos and took nice photographs. She gave very interesting insights and detailed stories about Hawaii and Kauai’s history, people, language and its culture. She engaged the kids very well and took us to interesting places for snacks and lunch. We had a wonderful tour of Spouting Horn, multiple stops in Waimea Canyon, Hanapepe Town and a local bakery. The weather was beautiful! We enjoyed the trip a lot! We highly recommend this tour.

This was an amazing tour with an amazing tour guide! The tour is run by a small family owned tour company, and they were so attentive and communicative. I highly recommend using Kauai Soul Travel to see the island, get recommendations for things to do around the island, and to learn about the beautiful island of Kauai. The weather wasn’t great for seeing the canyon, but adaptions were made to the schedule to get the most out of our time.

Traveling with 12 people was easy with Kauai Soul tour! Coco’s 7+ hour tour of Kauai was one of the highlights of our trip to the Islands! Her communications to our group setting up and paying for the tour was excellent! She picked us up promptly at the cruise terminal in her comfortable passenger van and led us on a journey around south and west Kauai which included Poipu, Kauai coffee, the amazing Waimea Canyon and Hanapepe. We snagged a shared tour because private was no longer available. Coco does not pack her vehicles to the max, she keeps her clients comfy! So we had no issues sharing the day with a multigenerational family. Coco is a beautiful storyteller and rich with knowledge of Kauai. Her positivity and wit were a nice addition to our day. From the Waimea Canyon to the swinging bridge, the tunnel of trees and beyond to little local spots, we had a lovely day! Worth every penny and more!
