Ga met ons mee op tour voor een dag en verken enkele van de mooiste natuurlijke regio's van de westkust. Laat het stadsleven achter u voor een dagtraktatie op enkele van de beste natuurwonderen van West-Australië.
Na 1,5 uur vanuit Perth stoppen we om de benen te strekken en te genieten van het uitzicht vanaf Guilderton Lookout, ter vervanging van de halte Lancelin vanwege de tijdelijke sluiting. Dit prachtige uitzichtpunt biedt een panoramisch uitzicht op de uitgestrekte zandduinen, die deel uitmaken van het grootste netwerk van zandduinen in West-Australië. De gigantische, sneeuwwitte duinen vormen een opvallend contrast met het glinsterende turquoise water van de Indische Oceaan in de verte. De uitkijkpost is toegankelijk via 83 treden (15 meer dan Lancelin) en duurt ongeveer 7 minuten om omhoog te lopen. Met toiletten en een café beschikbaar op de parkeerplaats, zal deze halte geen invloed hebben op de totale lengte van de tour, omdat de timing hetzelfde blijft.
Schud het zand uit je schoenen voordat we verder reizen naar het Nilgen Nature Reserve. In een regio die rijk is aan flora en fauna, dwalen we door een caleidoscopische verzameling wilde bloemen, waaronder banksia's, flessenborstels, heide, grasbomen en kangoeroepoten; allemaal barstensvol leven, wanneer in het seizoen.
Als de bloemen zich verbergen, gaan we in plaats daarvan naar Hangover Bay, waar je je tenen kunt onderdompelen in het kristalheldere water of tuimelaars en zeeleeuwen kunt spotten.
Met onze longen vol frisse zeelucht is het tijd om verder te reizen naar het Nambung National Park om de opmerkelijke Pinnacles-woestijn bij zonsondergang te aanschouwen. De Pinnacles bestaan uit schelpen en dateren miljoenen jaren terug in de tijd dat het land onder de zee lag. Best verkend in de schemering wanneer de drukte verdampt en de duizenden kalkstenen pilaren griezelig uit de woestijn oprijzen; kijk hoe de kleuren over de rotsen veranderen en een maanachtige atmosfeer creëren.
Geniet van een picknickdiner vergezeld van een glas lokale productwijn (alles inbegrepen), terwijl we ons installeren voor een spectaculaire lichtshow van natuurlijk wonder, onder de hemel. Terwijl de duisternis ondergaat, is het tijd om je te vergapen aan de buitenaardse schoonheid van de sterren en planeten, die hoog boven je wervelen. Luister naar de oude verhalen van de Aboriginal Dreamtime en kijk lichtjaren weg.
Op weg naar huis naar Perth, zullen we stoppen en genieten van de wonderen van de nachtelijke hemel.

- Kinderen moeten worden begeleid door een volwassene, niet geschikt voor kinderen van 5 jaar en jonger
- Een matige hoeveelheid van het lopen is betrokken, je moet een 1,5L-fles water meenemen om de wandelingen te voltooien en gehydrateerd te blijven
- Werkt in alle weersomstandigheden, kleed u op de juiste manier aan, aangezien de temperaturen in West-Australië extreem kunnen zijn. Het is niet ongehoord dat temperaturen in de zomer boven de 50 graden Celsius kunnen uitkomen en 's winters onder nul kunnen komen. Zorg ervoor dat u de gemiddelde temperaturen hebt gecontroleerd voor de tijden van uw bezoek en voldoende kleding hebt ingepakt

Let op : Af en toe kunnen we een groter voertuig voor 28 personen gebruiken, afhankelijk van de vraag en de beschikbaarheid van het wagenpark.

Wonderful guide. Bus was clean and comfortable. Disappointing to see all the other tour buses having their dinner set up by the pinnacles on the sand where as we were near the carpark (maybe something to improve). We were left to go wondering without a map or much instruction so 3/4 of the tour got lost and many asked the other tours guides operators at the pinnacles where to go. Not much commentary on the longer stretch or drive so the drive while peaceful was a bit underwhelming. Overall though it was a unique adventure and the pinnacles where amazing.

Tour a little disturb by the rain but Annalise managed to work past the weather to explain all possible on Pinnacles desert and find us a place for the stargazing on the road.

Even though it was quite cloudy, we still witnessed an amazing sunset over the horizon, and also kangaroos in the pinnacles. We also saw quite abit of wildlife at guilderton! Our guide was really friendly and knowledgeable about the environment and constellations. She even told us stories about the constellations. The tour came with dinner which filled our tummies after a long walk around the pinnacles. We somewhat saw venus, jupiter and the moon for a minute before it got cloudy while having dinner. Overall, it was a unique experience! I recommend booking this event with the weather in mind, and if your schedule is flexible, u can always call the operator for a change of date prior to your booking date if the forecast will be cloudy.

Wow! This tour was so worth the time and money. A truly unique experience. Beautiful vistas not only at The Pinnacles but throughout the tour. And the Pinnacles were like nothing I’ve seen before and I’ve been to Bryce Canyon, Arches NP, the Grand Canyon and the Badlands in the USA. The Pinnacles dispel any myth that deserts are featureless, lifeless and/or empty. It was just beautiful, especially at sunset. And I have never seen stars like that before. Highly, HIGHLY recommend this tour. And our guide Alexia was a sweetheart!

Annaliese was an amazing and patient tour guide. She was driven and fun to listen and follow. Unfortunately the weather was the only thing bad as the clouds covered quite a bit of the stars we could’ve seen but that is out of the guide’s control. The dinner was simple but refreshing and lovely. Definitely recommend to all who wish to view more of Western Australia’s beauty.

Trip was good, great to see the Pinnacles and the desert at night. It was beautifully clear so the stars were amazing. However, the trip description did not quite match the reality of the journey. Gilderton was, according to itinerary, an hour's stop. We were there for a very rushed 30mins. Although we were shown the constellations and there was some information given about the stars, there were no dream time stories told. This was specified in the itinerary description.

This trip is a must. The pinnacles at sunset were amazing and we were lucky to have a clear night for the stargazing. Analise (guide) and Amanda (driver) looked after us very well. Only part that was a bit disappointing was the stop at Nilgen Nature Reserve. There wasn’t much to see and it seemed a bit pointless to stop there, however that might have been down to the time of year I went (late April). The evening buffet meal was simple but tasty with a selection of meats and salads. We even had bubbles or choice of orange juice to wash it down with, as well as strawberries and chocolate biscuits for a dessert.

The star gazing experience, the different rock formation and the whole tour especially the tour guide Erin who is very knowledgeable about the constellation explaing everything that i have heard it the first time. To summarize it was an awesome tour.
