My friend and I did this cooking class while in Bosnia and it was the highlight of my trip. The host was incredible. She was so kind and patient as we attempted to follow her expert directions. Not only was it a fun evening, but we also were able to enjoy eating what we had just made. It tasted incredible! She shared the recipes with us and I will definitely be making the dishes once I return home. I highly recommend this Bosnian Cooking Lesson. You will have a very fun and informative evening and will never want to leave.

My wife and I had a great time. Mersiha is a wonderful, friendly, enthusiastic host and instructor. The class is very hands-on. It is done in her home, giving it a warm, personal, and authentic feel. Mersiha is organized and patient, and she has very interesting and sobering stories about her life during the siege of Sarajevo which she is happy to share if asked. The food we made was delicious. I highly recommend spending a few hours of your visit with Mersiha. It’s more than a cooking class, it is a true cultural experience.

Great experience! I recommend this to everyone who is curious about traditional Bosnian food and the deep hospitality that Sarajevo boasts. Mersiha is loving and opens her home and heart to her guests. It teaches you different traditional recipes without making it complicated for people with little cooking experience. Then you eat it together. There is a cozy and informal atmosphere and plenty of room for questions and sharing stories. Thanks Mersiha and all the best for the future!

Mersiha gave us such a wonderful and memorable cooking experience. She introduced us to traditional Bosnian dishes in a very personal and engaging way, and you can really feel how deeply cooking is connected to her life and family traditions. The ingredients were fresh and locally grown, and everything we prepared tasted incredibly authentic. In fact, some of the dishes we made were even better than what we had tried in restaurants. The class was hands-on, relaxed, and full of useful cooking tips, which made the whole experience very enjoyable. Mersiha also shared a little of her personal story and the background behind the food, which added extra meaning without taking away from the focus on cooking. This was truly a one of a kind experience. Mersiha was so lovely and welcomed us into her home. We had such a fun time making multiple traditional Bosnian recipes that she grew up cooking. Stretching the burek dough was an experience like no other. We had a wonderful time and I cannot recommend this class enough. Not to mention the food was the best we had in Bosnia! We will definitely do this again if we are ever back in the area.
