We kunnen ons avontuur beginnen vanuit de Aria Mall of uw hotel. Dan ontmoet je je vriendelijke en deskundige chauffeur en gids. Van daaruit gaan we naar het Vranduk-fort, een middeleeuws kasteel dat de tand des tijds heeft doorstaan. Vervolgens bezoeken we het Tesanj-kasteel, een prachtig fort dat een adembenemend uitzicht op het omliggende platteland biedt. Ten slotte verkennen we het fort van Srebrenik, een goed bewaard gebleven kasteel dat dateert uit de 14e eeuw. Tijdens de tour leer je over de fascinerende geschiedenis van deze forten en de rol die ze speelden bij het vormgeven van het verleden van Bosnië.
Het Vranduk-fort is een middeleeuws kasteel dat de tand des tijds heeft doorstaan. Het ligt op een steile rots boven de rivier de Bosnië en biedt een prachtig uitzicht op het omliggende platteland. Het fort werd gebouwd tijdens het Bosnische koninkrijk en diende ooit als residentie van de 15e-eeuwse Bosnische koning Stjepan Tomas 1. Het kasteel bestaat uit een citadel met de hoofdtoren en een beschermende muur, die het interieur van middeleeuwse stad 2 omringt. is een van de vele middeleeuwse Bosnische steden met een intensief politiek, economisch en cultureel leven. Het fort is een populaire bezoekersattractie en is uitgeroepen tot nationaal monument van Bosnië en Herzegovina.
Tešanj Castle is een fort in Tešanj, Bosnië en Herzegovina. Het is een van de grootste historische verdedigingswerken van het land, met een oppervlakte van 6.296 vierkante meter. Het kasteel werd gebouwd tijdens de bronstijd en werd later uitgebreid door de Romeinen, Slaven en Ottomanen. Tijdens de Ottomaanse periode had het fort een permanent garnizoen van het Ottomaanse leger. Het kasteel bestaat uit een citadel met een hoofdtoren en een beschermende muur die het interieur van de middeleeuwse stad omringt. Het kasteel herbergt ook drie musea, waaronder een museumtoren met tentoonstellingen zoals de Ottomaans-Turkse vlag uit de Slag om Mohacs en een presentatie van de geschiedenis van Tesanj uit de 19e en 20e eeuw, inclusief de belangrijkste persoonlijkheden zoals de burgemeester Hamdibey Ajanovic en beroemde politicus Zijad-bey Djonlagic. Tijdens de tour leer je over de fascinerende geschiedenis van het fort en de rol die het speelde in het vormgeven van het verleden van Bosnië.
Na een bezoek aan het Tesanj-kasteel stoppen we voor de lunch in restaurant Kapija Grill House. Het restaurant ligt vlak bij kasteel Tesanj en staat bekend om zijn heerlijke gegrilde gerechten en gezellige sfeer. Het menu biedt een verscheidenheid aan gerechten, waaronder gegrild vlees, verse salades en zelfgemaakte soepen.
Het fort van Srebrenik is een van de best bewaarde middeleeuwse kastelen in Bosnië en Herzegovina en dateert uit 1333. Het fort ligt op de noordoostelijke hellingen van de Majevica-berg in het dorp Gornji Srebrenik, op ongeveer 5 km afstand van het stadscentrum. Het is gebouwd op een steile, bijna ontoegankelijke rots met een diepe greppel eronder, met als enige ingang een kleine brug. Het kasteel werd tot aan zijn dood in 1353 bewoond door de Ban van Bosnië, Stefanus II Kotromanic. Het fort is sinds november 2004 uitgeroepen tot nationaal monument van Bosnië en Herzegovina.
Tuzla is de derde grootste stad van Bosnië en Herzegovina en het administratieve centrum van het kanton Tuzla van de Federatie van Bosnië en Herzegovina. Vanaf 2013 heeft het 110.979 inwoners. Tuzla is het economische, culturele, educatieve, gezondheids- en toeristische centrum van Noordoost-Bosnië.
Vjetrenica is de grootste grot in Bosnië en Herzegovina en de meest biodiverse grot ter wereld. Het maakt deel uit van het Dinarische Alpengebergte, dat bekend staat om zijn karst- en speleologische kenmerken. De grot bevindt zich in het Popovo-veld in Ravno, Oost-Herzegovina in de Federatie van Bosnië en Herzegovina.

Maar als de tour begint vanaf het moment dat bezoekers in de transportwagen stappen, van de ene plaats naar de andere, en terugkeren naar het startpunt, duurt het in totaal 10 uur en 45 minuten.

This is my second tour with Adis, and the hospitality has always been fantastic. The experience really felt more like a good friend showing you around his country. He would interact with the local and purchase small souvenirs for us to support the local economy. We were provided with water and snacks throughout the trip and he kept us well informed at each site. These fortresses are definitely “hole in the wall” sites, which means no crowds whatsoever! I’d highly recommend this tour if you want good company and an interesting history lesson! The pictures at each site also did not disappoint.

The tour was very well put together. One of the best I have been on. Drinks were provided in the car, the car was clean and comfortable. The driving always felt safe. The tour never felt rushed and lots of facts about Bih was given. Adis was great, thank you for such a good trip.

OMG! This was the best tour of our entire trip! Adis was prompt, professional, and hilarious! We visited 3 castles and learned about the history of the places and how it tied into the greater Bosnian history. It felt like being on another planet how remote we were. Lunch was great and Adis made sure we were enjoying ourselves with so drinks and snack for the ride over. A long but amazing day I can't believe some of the places we visited. Must do!

The castles in Bosnia are fantastic. We traveled to three castles that were all unique and offered spectacular views. Adis, my tour guide, offers a very special experience to his guests by sending a drone up to video the experience. This was the first time I have been on a tour that was videoed via a drone….amazing experience!!

We enjoyed touring the two castles with our excellent guide. Because my wife and I were the only ones on this trip and we were suffering jet lag, we asked to cut the trip short and did not get to Sbrenica site.

It was the best trip we had in Bosnia. For lovers of history and medieval times this is a must have, all three fortresses show different types of architecture and style. We had a private your, so everything was tailored to suit us. There is plenty of time to see everything and enjoy it fully without rush. This was perhaps the greatest tour I've ever been on anywhere in the world for so many reasons. Firstly, these castles are absolutely stunning so well preserved and located on the summits of the beautiful Bosnian Mountains. Secondly and most importantly....the tour is planned and guided by Adis, an amazing man who is so knowledgeable and passionate and kind in how he shares and presents the most precious gems of his beautiful homeland....you will see stunning sights and learn the incredible history and stories hidden behind the walls of these incredible castles....this is a great tour for families people who love history and architecture or simply people who want to escape their daily routine and take in some beautiful sights
