Mostar - de stad beroemd om de Oude Brug is zeker een van de mooiste plekken die je zult zien, maar het is niet alles wat Herzegovina te bieden heeft. Kravica Falls, Konjic, Blagaj en Pocitelj zijn ook pareltjes van Herzegovina, dus waarom zou je ze niet ook zien?

Eerste stop van de dag is een kort bezoek aan Konjic – unieke, prehistorisch bewoonde plaats van waaruit Herzegovina begint, beroemd om 17e eeuw 6 – boog Oude Brug en een perfecte introductie tot de smaragdgroene Neretva rivier.
Vanuit Konjic gaan we verder richting het eerste hoogtepunt van de reis! De Kravica-watervallen zijn een favoriete picknickplaats en zomerzwemplek in Herzegovina. Waterval van 28 meter hoog en 120 meter breed is zonder meer de grootste en mooiste van het land! In de zomer worden onze reizigers aangemoedigd om de waterval als lokale bevolking te ervaren, dus er is geen betere manier dan in het koude water te springen (laat ons weten dat u deze optie wilt gebruiken).
Prachtige middeleeuwse en Ottomaanse stenen gebouwde versterkte dorp Počitelj is onze volgende stop. Game of Thrones uitziende dorp geeft ons een perfect panoramisch uitzicht. We maken een gemakkelijke wandeling richting de Kula, een silovormig fort met uitzicht op het dorp vanaf de top van de heuvel. Het werd gebruikt om wachters en militairen te huisvesten als wacht tegen mogelijke indringers uit de Neretva-vallei. Leer over de boom uit de 15e eeuw die hoog naast de minaret van de moskee staat en heb de meest geweldige foto's!
Na een korte wandeling vervolgt u uw weg naar Blagaj. Deze stad ligt aan de bron van de Buna rivier, de krachtigste, schoonste en drinkbaarste rivierbron van Europa. Betreed het Derwisj huis en sta versteld van de hoeveelheid details en vakmanschap. Gebouwd op de plaats van eerdere Bogumil heiligdom in de 16e eeuw is een plek waar "u rust zult vinden". Tekke wordt nog steeds gebruikt door Derwisjen voor "zikr" en het is de perfecte plek om te leren over mystieke soefi-orde.
Het is tijd om het beste deel van onze reis te bezoeken, de stad Mostar. Mostar staat al lang bekend om zijn oude Turkse huizen en oude brug. Het historische deel van Mostar is het resultaat van interactie tussen de natuurverschijnselen en de menselijke creativiteit gedurende een lange historische periode. De architectuur hier is een symbool van tolerantie : een gedeeld leven van moslims, christenen en joden. Focus op de Oude Brug van Mostar, de Oude Bazaar en de Oude Stad, en hoor verhalen over Mostar's uniciteit en kosmopolitische erfgoed. Na Mostar is het tijd om afscheid te nemen van Herzegovina maar het is niet het einde van onze reis!
Mostar is onze laatste stop en het is tijd om afscheid nemen van Herzegovina. In iets meer dan 2 uur zijn wij weer terug in Sarajevo, waar wij onze gasten terugbrengen naar hun accommodatie om uit te rusten na een drukke dag. Optioneel: In het geval gasten graag de tour willen eindigen in Mostar, zetten wij ze gratis af op hun adres in Mostar.

It is a great way to see many locations if you are tight for time. Having the option for a sandwich on the bus was nice as we spent a lot of time on the road.
Amazing experience and a must do if you have limited time in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Stops are timed efficiently, not too short so you have plenty of time to walk around or sit down to eat. Our tour guide Hasan was also very knowledgeable, shared many interesting facts you otherwise would miss out on.
Very well organized tour with an amazing guide. We spent just the right amount of time at each spot and they dropped us and our luggage at our hotel in Mostar.

My family and I had a great day on the tour of Mostar. The tour guide was very informative and helpful. Having the entrance fees included in the price made the visits easy to access. Punctual pick up at the hotel, friendly and helpful guide. Pocitelj was really interesting. The waterfalls were very crowded (which one cannot blame the tour operator for). However, we never had to wait in line. Were back on time. It was worth it
