Een onvergetelijke onderdompeling in het rijke tapijtwerk van Bologna, waarbij geschiedenis, cultuur en panoramische uitzichten worden gecombineerd. Je tour begint op het levendige Piazza Maggiore, waar de basiliek van San Petronio, de klokkentoren en de fontein van Neptunus boeien. Je deskundige gids onthult de verhalen achter deze historische juweeltjes. Verderop doorkruis je de pittoreske met fresco's versierde portieken van de stad en bezoek je bezienswaardigheden zoals de Archiginnasio en het Anatomisch Theater, doordrenkt van medische geschiedenis. De reis gaat verder via de bruisende Quadrilatero-markt, de iconische Twee Torens en het serene Piazza Santo Stefano met zijn zeven kerken. Verken bekende plekken zoals Galleria del Leone voordat je de Torre dell'Orologio bereikt. Hier stijg je zelfstandig op voor een adembenemend stadspanorama.

De tour begint vlakbij Piazza Maggiore, waar je de gids ontmoet. Samen begeef je je naar het hart van het plein, waar de gids een eerste introductie geeft over de stad en de betekenis van wat dit plein omringt.

Het Anatomisch Theater, gelegen in de Archiginnasio van Bologna, is een adembenemend iconische plek die het belang van de stad in de Italiaanse geschiedenis symboliseert.
Het marktdistrict is een van de levendigste delen van de stad en een favoriet onder de lokale bevolking voor de dagelijkse boodschappen. Als je door deze straten dwaalt, zal het water je zeker in de mond lopen!
Bologna staat bekend als de stad van de torens, en de twee torens vormen het symbool ervan. Ze zijn onmogelijk te missen als je in Bologna bent!
Het plein van Santo Stefano is beroemd om zijn 7 kerken en vormt een prachtig architectonisch complex dat wacht om ontdekt te worden.
De gids begeleidt je naar de ingang van de Klokkentoren. Je stijgt zelfstandig naar de top om van bovenaf te genieten van het panoramische uitzicht.

- Om de Klokkentoren te beklimmen, is het verplicht om dichte schoenen te dragen. Het is niet toegestaan om met slippers of sandalen naar binnen te gaan vanwege de aanwezigheid van zeer steile trappen.
- De duur van de tour kan variëren, van 2 tot 2,5 uur, omdat de klim naar de Klokkentoren zelfstandig wordt gedaan, zonder gids (ticket inbegrepen in de prijs). U kunt zelf bepalen hoeveel tijd u besteedt aan het genieten van het uitzicht!
- Mobiliteitsbeperkingen en handicaps: deze tour is niet geschikt voor mensen met beperkte mobiliteit.

Maria was a wonderful guide, very knowledgeable of the local area and history of Bologna. Only downside was that my wife had her shoulders out so couldn’t go into the basilica, I’d suggest informing people who book of this, ahead of the tour.

Our guide was a very nice gentleman but really did not enjoy this tour. Had a very hard time hearing and understanding our guide. I left the tour not knowing much more about Bologna than when we started.

Really nice and well preserved, stunning views over nologna, great booking Service and the guys on site.
We toured with a guided free walking tour the whole building, it is a place where the life of the commune takes place, since there the Commons works. You can climb the tower and it is recommended to do it in the afternoon as the location of the sun allows us to take better photos of the whole city.
