Amazing service! We used Gira Travel for a return airport transfer, as we were staying only one night in Yerevan. Our driver, Arman, was waiting for us at the airport exit. We had a very nice ride to our hotel, as the car was new and comfortable. Arman, who speaks very good English, was kind enough to point us to the main landmarks and attractions in Yerevan. Journey back to the airport the day after was also hassle-free and pleasurable. Overall, we were extremely happy with the service. Hugely recommend these guys!
We learned so much about Armenian history and culture, from the earliest yeas to present, and from the alphabet to touchstones. Our tour leader was experienced in chaperoning a large group through Yerevan’s diverse streets. He shared his sense of humor. We are so glad to have had this valuable foundation on the first day of our Armenian travels.
Booked a 4am airport transfer, unfortunately taxi driver was no where to be found. I can only assume driver didn't wait for our slightly delayed flight which is something I would normally expect from an airport pickup. Did receive a refund, but no explanation.
Hello Karen and thanks for your feedback. Our driver was in the airport and he actually waited for 2 hours. We usually monitor the timetable for any changes in flight schedule, but unfortunately you did not provide your flight details so the driver was not sure if you arrived or not. It is not uncommon for us to wait for delayed flights, you can even read about it in other reviews. For some unfortunate reason you missed the driver and you did not call or message us either, so we assumed you simply did not travel. We refunded you fully as you did not use our services, despite the fact that we sent the driver to the airport. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. On your next travel to Armenia you will get an absolutely free half-day tour to Garni temple.
Wow! The level of dedication with Gira Travel is unparalleled. My driver, gentleman Arman, has earned my respect, in waiting 2+ hours for me for an airport transfer (as I was dealing with a lost luggage situation), and helped arrange multiple transfers in the middle of the night - hours at which most people would be asleep! Anyone else would have left me stranded, yet he stayed, and refused any additional payment. I wholeheartedly appreciate this attitude, the willingness to serve with morality, and I definitely appreciate his professionalism and unique insight on Armenian society and history. A very informative, friendly, and praiseworthy operation here. My sincerest gratitude, and highest of recommendations to all.
Very good transfer. The driver was on time and was very friendly. I recommend to use this transfer to go from city to airport or from airport to city.
The driver met my flight at 3:45 AM and safely drove me to my hotel in central Yerevan in a nice SUV.
My driver Arman was very knowledgeable about the area he was dropping me off at, even helped me communicate with my accommodation's owners to ensure a smooth check-in process. Highly recommended!
Arrived at 3 am. The driver was waiting, easily identified, very helpful with currency exchange at the airport bank, friendly, a good and comfortable car. In spite of the time of very late night the driver was fully alert, communicating well, good English. He pointed out some main sites along the way, offered a few tips as basic information in a professional manner. He helped with the luggage, waited till my hotel check in was in progress and left only after he saw that everything was fine. An excellent service, highly recommended.
Great Service for transfer from Hotel to Airport. We were picked up on time and reached the airport on time.
I booked a transfer from the airport to my hotel in Yerevan and then back to the airport. I sent through my flight details and promptly received a message confirming the details. The service was excellent. My flight was around 1hr late arriving but the driver was still waiting at arrivals with a sign and also waited whilst I changed some money. The driver was friendly and professional, spoke good English and the car was comfortable. On the return journey to the airport the driver was waiting at the hotel early. I was very happy with the service and I would use Gira Travel again if visiting Yerevan.
