The tour operator simply did NOT show up! We were in continuous contact with the tour operator with them saying to go to a specific location and time. We were there where we were told to be and they did not show up. We have photos so it would be impossible for them to deny.
Amazing experience! The Lake Zurich cruise was relaxing and offered beautiful views of the city, lake, and surrounding scenery. Everything was smooth and well organized. A great way to see Zurich from a different perspective—definitely worth doing!
This “cruise” is nothing but an over priced water taxi service. For CHF9.00 you are better off getting the boat from Bürkliplatz to Rapperswil!
It should be noted that this “scenic cruise” is actually a water taxi which makes several stops adding more and more passengers. Therefore making this “cruise” not scenic at all.
It was a great ride on Lake Zurich. Thank you for such a lovely experience. I will recommend this and must try it.
It was the local transfer ferry that you can purchase tickets for at the ferry terminal. It was very crowded and was not a guided tour.
Do not book this. This is public transportation to different piers. Not a scenic boat tour. You can buy your ticket at the pier for $3 instead of $30 or online at zsg.ch. They buy tickets and majorly up charge.
If you have little time, it is a good option to get to know Lake Zurich. Yes, it is transportation for several locals, but that does not detract from the service at all.
The ship could not be found. We ended up on another ship and had to pay again.
Do no book, this is a scam. I booked for 11.30 on 8th June 2026. I received no tickets. There was no operator at the meeting point. I spoke with the public ferry office and the ferry operators, nobody has heard for this company and they advised no boats leave at 11.30. I advise you to book directly with the public office at Burkliplatz for CHF9.2 person or EUR$10 per person and get a 1.5 hour tour on a really nice boat. It's easy to book there and there is no issue of being scammed. I've contact Viator to supply all the details but still waiting for them to respond and provide a refund.
Hi Customer, We have already sent you the tickets on your viator messaging app, but the message shows unread from your side. The viator confirmation voucher is not the ticket, the actual tickets are those which we sent you on your email after you made the booking. The boat you are talking about for chf 9.2 per person is not a boat ticket, we dont sell those, you might contacted some other boat company
