We had the most amazing experience doing this tour. I did wonder if I would find the rappelling a bit scary or difficult, as we had not abseiled before, but it was absolutely fantastic. We are a family of 4 with two teenagers and we all loved the challenge of abseiling between the waterfalls and then the Ziplines had the most amazing views. The horse-riding at the end was a bit of a bonus for those in our family who had never ridden - it was a short ride back. For us though, the best but was the abseiling. We felt safe and had absolute faith in the equipment and our guide, Pedro. The bonus on this tour was that we had the guides just to our family and not part of a large group. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

This was such an amazing experience. The only scary part was the rappelling but it was very safe and fun when all said and done. All the zip lines were very fun. The tour guides were all very helpful and kind. The horses were all very well trained and just an addition amazing part of the experience. Would definitely recommend this to everyone.
Sounds like you got to enjoy a little bit of everything. The rappel definitely tends to push people outside their comfort zone, which makes it even more rewarding once it is done. I had an amazing time. The guides were kind and the whole staff spoke English and Spanish. Only thing is, make sure you’re willing to have a work out. The hiking to get to each zip line and the ladder we had to climb to get back up from the rappel wore me out!

We had the bestest time at Arenal Mundo Adventura! Our shuttle driver was very sweet. We did the combo with zip lines, rappel, and the waterfall ladder. Daniel and Pedro were excellent guides - sweet and entertaining. We had Otto with us as the photographer and he also was very friendly. We were the only two that signed up for the combo tour that day so it was very fun to have the park basically to ourselves for most of the experience. We ended with horseback rides with Otto (different Otto than the photographer, also awesome). All in all, they take safety very seriously, they have fun with you, and they help you feel calm throughout especially during the high and fast experiences. Seriously so much fun and super worth the visit! Things to remember: - bring cash for tips and for artisanal Sovineer purchases - We wore shorts with zippers to keep our items safe, but they do have lockers - They have a couple water stations scattered throughout the experience - Rappeling was scary but they had guides holding rope on both ends of us and it was calming to know that I was the one controlling my speed - waterfall climb is calm but can be just a little wobbly. You are fully roped in and have gloves!
That sounds like a full day done right. Having the place almost to yourselves must have made the whole experience feel even more special. What an awesome experience! Rappelling was a definitely highlight and the climb up the ladder was terrifyingly amazing! What a beautiful place to soar above the trees! Our guides were well trained and made us feel safe to enjoy the fun. Ending with a horseback ride was the best! Would 10/10 recommend, great value for the money!
It was an amazing experience! The tour guides were great and they explained everything. The whole tour was great and I would recommend to everyone. The rappel was the scariest but after you start you will love it !

This was probably our favorite activity of our trip! The view was so beautiful. The admission fee was reasonable considering we did 7 ziplines, rappelling, and horseback riding; the activity was approximately 3 hours. The guides were also super friendly.

I am petrified of heights but was able to do the ziplining and rappelling although it was still scary. The guides were absolutely wonderful and made you feel safe with every step of the way. I would only suggest this if you're in somewhat shape because you have to rappel down the cliff but then climb up this long ladder which is extremely tiring. I would recommend wearing hiking boots, too because it can get wet and slipper since you're in the rainforest. We got wonderful pictures and videos at the end, as well!
