Five stars is not nearly enough for the tour that Marco gave the six of us. The 3+ hours that we spent together were informative, entertaining, humorous, and breathtakingly beautiful. Along the way, we got several recommendations / insider tips that we put to good use during the rest of our family vacation. Marco was also an instant hit with our two children - our 3 year-old son was so comfortable that he insisted Marco hold his hand at every pit stop. I would HIGHLY recommend that anyone visiting Sao Miguel start their journey with Marco.
Tour guide Marko Felix, was excellent. Very comfortable vehicle. Very knowledgeable guide, accommodating and very friendly. If you get him, your lucky.

Wonderful tour! Marco was very engaging and made sure we had a great day, despite the uncooperative weather. He shifted the itinerary as the day went on to give us the best sights and stops. The box lunch was delicious local bread and cheese. We had booked the 3 hour tour, and at the end, he offered for us to continue on, which we happily did. You won’t go wrong with this tour!

Great experience. Marco was so nice, I could not even get him to stop at the 3 hr point. He wanted to show us more and more. We ended up with 4.5 hrs on a 3 hr tour. He is so knowledgeable and his personality so pleasing. It was a joy to spend an afternoon with him seeing the most beautiful areas of the Azores. A+ in our book.

We had a wonderful day exploring Sao Miguel with Marco. He was very kind, engaging and knowledgeable and gave us a very personal tour. Marco not only provided a lot of interesting information about the history and geology of the island, but also provided tasty snacks and coffee for us along the way. The nice, sunny weather made the tour even more enjoyable. The views of the lakes and the green lovely landscape were fantastic. Highly recommended!
