What an excellent tour! Elias did an amazing job showing us the windmills, clog factory, cheese farm and Volendam, plus provided general information about the area during our drive. He’s very knowledgeable and friendly and provided a relaxed atmosphere and his vehicle was very comfortable and clean. He also gave us plenty of time at each destination. We loved the tour and highly recommend it to others!
OUTSTANDING tour! Elias is the BEST tour guide! He is very personable and knowledgeable. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Elias. The itinerary is well thought out. Elias expertly guided us through Zaanse Schans away from the crowds so that we could truly enjoy its pastoral beauty, its windmills, and its clog workshop. It was then off to the Henri Willig farm where there was a short cheese-making demonstration followed by a delightful cheese tasting. The tour concluded with a stop at the picturesque fishing town of Volendam where we had the option to have lunch. We had some of the best fish that we have ever had, and this is saying a lot considering we also dined at Michelin-starred restaurants during our stay in Amsterdam. We had the opportunity to enjoy iconic Dutch sweet treats (poffertjes and stroopwafels) as well. Elias’ recommendations were spot on! There is a reason why there are so many excellent reviews about Elias and this tour. He is genuine, amiable, and of course knowledgeable. His English is excellent, and he is well-spoken. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND this tour! You won’t be disappointed!

This was a very fun and relaxing excursion. We are near the end of a 2 week long journey including a river cruise and land adventures on either side. We are all tired and full of good memories. To end our adventure on this excursion was perfect! We had a very entertaining and informative guide. We learned much about the history and culture of Amsterdam and the surrounding countryside. We were transported in a luxury van that was very comfortable. We did some walking but not excessive which was a welcome relief after the last couple of days. The windmills were fascinating, the clog making demo enjoyable, the cheese factory tour was delicious, and the charming town of Volendam provided more beautiful scenery and lunch options. We left with lots of souvenirs and many happy memories. Highly recommend!
Our guide Yunice was on time, knowledegable and most importantly very kind! It rained most of the day, but our guide was ready and provided front door service. He made sure that we had front line access when possible.
