We had an amazing day in Shanghai, thanks to James from Travel China Guide. James grew up in Shanghai and knows it like the back of his hand. He speaks English fluently and is eager to share his knowledge of this vibrant city, readily answering questions and making suggestions for ensuring our full enjoyment of the tour. For example, he booked our tickets for the cruise on the Huanpu River Cruise at noon, knowing that the afternoon cruises would be more crowded. And he consulted our driver about accommodating our request for time adjustments to our itinerary, something we much appreciated. He was agreeable and flexible, while giving us a great overview of his city. I enjoyed every aspect - the visit to Tianzifang, the historic early 20th century district with its alleyways, the river cruise that showed the financial area with its skyscrapers and the Bund with its interesting architecture, the lovely 400 year old Yu Garden., the bustling commercial district and the new Shanghai Museum. We left Shanghai with many good memories of fascinating sites and interesting experiences, thanks to James, our expert and thoughtful tour guide.

We had an unforgettable one-day tour in Shanghai with our exceptional guide, Sasa. She was knowledgeable, professional, and spoke flawless English. The day began with a scenic Huangpu River cruise, after that we visited the tranquil Yuyuan Garden, where Sasa shared fascinating insights. In the afternoon we wandered through the artistic streets of Tianzifang where Sasa also introduced us to the most delicious dumplings and refreshing iced tea—an absolute highlight! We then visited the Shanghai Museum and after that explored the historic Bund. Her organization and warmth made the experience seamless and memorable. Highly recommend this tour and Sasa to anyone visiting Shanghai!

We had a fantastic day with Chloe our guide. Despite the typhoon weather, we were able to have a good day seeing the sights and making the most of our time in Shanghai. Chloe was able to tailor the day to fit our interests and was a pleasure to spend time with. We enjoyed trying the different Shanghai speciality’s and the museum was a highlight.

Dear friends, I had china trip recently and very much amazed about the historical places and growth of china. In Shanghai my trip was accompanied by @sophieLee and she is very good, caring and friendly. She cooperated well and made all arrangements including food as per our preference. We did a one day tour in Shanghai. We visited the Yu Garden, which is an oasis of calm in the midst of the city, walked along the Bund, took a cruise on the Huangpu River, visited the bookstore on the 52nd floor of the Shanghai Tower, and more. It was a full day and we got to see many different aspects of the city. Our guide, Martin, was wonderful and very informative. We greatly enjoyed our time in the city.

We saw Shanghai as part of an 11-day tour that included Nanjing, Suzhou, and Hangzhou. We saw the French quarters first. It was good, but many of the stores were closed because it was early in the morning. Arrange to go in the evening if possible. Later, we went on the Huangpu River cruise. Ryan pointed out many of the key buildings and sites that helped us decide where to go during our free time. When we returned to Shanghai at the end of our 11-day tour, we saw the Shanghai Museum and the Yu Garden. The Shanghai Museum had a lot of great exhibits, but as with many museums, there is never enough time. Ryan pointed out many interesting details in the Yu Garden that could easily have been missed. The details and explanation made the visit to the garden a lot more meaningful. Overall, we had a great time in Shanghai.

The tour was interesting, and Ryan gave great insights at the garden. The museum also showed a lot of China's history.
