This tour was OUTSTANDING!!! The guide was extremely knowledgeable and told us all sorts of historical facts and stories. We walked around the city for 3.5 hours and saw things that we had previously walked by but had not even noticed. After taking this tour, I felt like I really saw the city. It dives deep into the history and culture, unlike other tours that just scratch the surface and rush you through. Just be prepared to walk a lot. One warning, the map provided by the Viator app to the tour starting location is inaccurate. It had us go to the square behind the Metro Cafe. The correcting meeting point was in front of the Metro Cafe. We almost missed our tour because of this. Overall, a fantastic tour. 10 out of 10.

Regarding the meeting point, we’re sorry for the confusion and understand how stressful it must have been to worry about missing the tour. We provide both a map location and additional meeting point instructions, which we recommend checking together. Unfortunately, Prague’s large historic buildings and palaces can sometimes make map locations less precise, even when the street address is correct. In this case, you were at the correct address, but just a few meters away from the guide, on the opposite side of the wall. We’ve contacted Viator about this issue several times, but removing the street address seems to create even more confusion. We’ll continue looking for a better solution and will also review how we can make the additional meeting point information more visible and easier to follow. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we’re glad you still had such a fantastic experience with us! ❤️

Excellent tour of Nazi and communist Prague
Vaclav was an excellent guide. He knows his history, and had lots of interesting comments to add about life in Prague currently and in the past. Highly highly recommended!

Went on WW 2 & communism tour with Jakob it was excellent, very informative . Realised how much you miss when you don’t get a great tour guide.Jakob was highly educated on all things historical about Prague & left us wanting more. Great tour & exceptional tour guide. Highly recommend.

Experience Prague and its history
The Prague WW2 & Communism Walking Tour on 08/01/26 with Nico was conducted very well with in-depth and interesting explanations from a historical and human perspective. The city seen in its succession of events and people's lives. An accurate chronological account rich in detail. The guide was excellent and attentive to the group, always available and kind! Recommended!

Nico great tour!
Great tour with Nico who had lots of knowledge and answered all our questions. Ideal weather for walking tour as well as it was in the 70 degrees.
