Absolutely fabulous.... other travelers should make sure to see all the grounds.. take the tours of the Church, Kings Castle and Dolls house. To watch the Kings Guards change over the course of the day was absolutely amazing ..
Enjoyable self guided tour of Windsor Castle with audio. Easy to use, easy to find. Spots to sit during the tour. A great glimpse into the royal family’s history, traditions and life in service. Highly recommend.
The castle itself is large and beautiful. We spent hours wandering around the. State apartments with all the gold and paintings and fancy furniture. The grounds are also nice to walk around. It's like real living history.
Purchasing the family tickets online was simple; I printed them just in case, but the QR scan at the gate worked flawlessly. Being inside the actual state apartments and seeing how grand the facility is made the entire visit memorable. From booking until the end of the day. Everything felt professional and well run.
We used our admission tickets on a calm weekday and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We took time going into the castle, admiring the royal items and armor displays. The view from the towers over the town and river are pleasant. Tickets were easy to purchase.
Did this visit solo and ended up staying longer than planned. The history side was actually much more engaging than I expected. Crowds were noticeable by midday, so going earlier probably helps.
We bought our tickets in advance which definitely saved us time at the main gate because the ticket queue was huge. The castle itself is amazing and seeing the state apartments was definitely worth the price of admission.
The staff were attentive and very helpful, dealing with my handicap. It is very, long. Would be helpful if they would link the electronic tour to the location more.
Lovely experience for all the family. Highlight was the dolls house and we were also surprised with the number of state rooms that you got to go through. Everyone that we met in Windsor was helpful and warm hearted. Everyone just seemed to be genuinely happy to be there.
We never made it there because of an unforeseen accident. Don’t book thru this company (Evan’s & Evan’s) as these tours through them are not refundable and was hard communicating with them. Book directly through the Castles website if possible!
