ペニャスブランカス半日ワイルドライフ＆ネイチャーリバーサファリフロート

This was one of my favourite experiences in Costa Rica. We did a couple of different tours with Canoa Aventura and they were all great. Our family of four had a single boat with a guide, and we saw a lot of wildlife. I think we got lucky with the guide, but we saw howler monkeys, a coati, a snake, lizards, a sloth, crocodiles and iguane as well as a wide variety of different wildlife. At the end we had a nice lunch, including a toast with local moonshine and a quick chocolate intro - plus a taster. I'd recommned this to anyone who wants to drift along the river and see some wildlife. It was pretty sedate, we did a bit of paddling occasionally but I was still able to take lots of photos as we went.

We had a fantastic time on the Canoa Safari Float River Tour! Transportation to and from our hotel was comfortable, safe, and right on time. Our guide, JJ, could not have been more enthusiastic or passionate about his job and the incredible wildlife around us. His knowledge made the tour so engaging, and we learned so much while spotting animals along the river. It was a relaxing, fun, and educational day. We highly recommend this tour!

Our guide barely spoke to us during the tour and when he did it was minimal. I believe this was due to his extremely limited English which is understandable but we did book for an English speaking guide. We had quite an uneventful cruise along the river in terms of seeing animals but it could have still been enjoyable had the guide explained things to us about local floral and fauna and engaged in conversation with us to pass the time. I literally almost fell asleep several times and wondered if I might fall into the water.

Great time! Andre & all the guides were super nice. Even took us on a waterfall hike at the end. Would recommend

It was a great day and great weather with a great knowledgeable guide. We saw multiple animals and all the ones we traveled to see!

We had such a wonderful experience! From Orlando greeting us on the bus to our incredible tour guide Lee. We went with our children, ages 4 & 6, and the half day was a great length float for them (with a snack break while on the water). We saw lizards, birds, bats, plenty of monkeys, iguanas and even a caiman! The bus ride from town is about 25 minutes, the float itself was around 2 hours, then once you’re done with the float, we were treated to a snack of plantains, cheese and tortillas with coffee and other local drinks. Thanks Lee for one of the most memorable days of our trip!

We saw lots of wildlife, such as howler monkeys and different kinds of birds. Our tour guide Andrey was friendly and passionate about wildlife.

Nice and easy float down the rivers. Our guide Five was our guide. Was also on bus with us. Very knowledgeable about everything. Easy trip for all ages. Had a fantastic time. Saw iguanas, monkeys, toucans and a crocodile. I highly recommend.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our Penas Blancas river float. Six people in the raft with guide Alejandro - who was excellent! Alejandro entertainingly shared natural history on the van trip to the start and back as well as on the float, all very interesting! We saw (and heard!) several groups of Howler monkeys, also iguanas in the trees and one right next to the path when we got out, several crocs, a turtle, and a few birds. It rained lightly a few times, but that's Costa Rica! Shoes/feet got wet from puddles in the bottom of the raft. At the end, had a light snack and then a cocoa lesson with a little tasting, an interesting and nice surprise finish!
