This was an absolutely terrific tour. The guide was knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely excited about sharing this experience. We saw at least seven whales, many relatively close to our boat. It was a trip filled with one sighting after another, everywhere we looked. Truly a fantastic experience and well worth the price.

Incredible trip. We saw 30 whales. Whale wise guide Tom was so great. And Judith explained so much we loved every minute.

Wow, what a one of a kind experience! Tom was a true delight. So knowledgeable, friendly, and enthusiastic! We saw 8 whales after about 1.5hrs of no sightings— including a mother and calf, which was absolutely incredible. One whale even breached by a rainbow!! This is not the norm, so we felt very lucky. The scenery was breathtaking, and the captain (Enge) made us feel very safe on choppy waters. The admission fee is very reasonable considering the knowledge of the team and the fact that it goes toward whale conservation. My group of 4 left the 2.5hr tour in high spirits and smiling!

The odds are good that you will see whales. We had several sightings during our time out in the fjord. Unfortunately, the trip got off to a bad start. Despite their reassurance that you “ can’t miss” the building where we were to meet, we did miss it. After a couple of calls, we found our way, only to be met by the female guide who chided us for being late, shamed us by saying “everyone else was on the boat waiting for us” and when I challenged the directions that were on the website, she again blamed me for not allowing enough time to get to the location. After this unkind reception, we pulled away from the dock at 10:03… 3 minutes after the start time. There are other tour operators who provide guides who are knowledgeable about whales and how to treat human beings.

We had an amazing experience, we were very lucky that we saw so maby birds, a mother and calf whale and the added bonus of an iceberg. Our guide was extremely knowledgable and very passionate and her enthusiasm was infectious. Thank you for a great few hours in the bay!

Our tour guide was fantastic. Our boat captain did an amazing job of navigating. Saw many whales and an iceberg.

We booked this tour independently when we were in port with our cruise. It’s ideally placed near the cruise terminal. The tour was full, but the boat didn’t feel at all crowded. The guide was first class and the captain clearly very experienced. We saw at least 5 humpback whales in 2 different locations during the cruise. It was an amazing and humbling experience. The captain was sympathetic and considerate to the whales and got close, but not too close. I would highly recommend an excursion with this company and I would definitely book again.

We found two humpback juveniles and they did not disappoint. The whales were like clock work. Down for 6 minutes and back to the surface. Got great pictures and videos!
