Guides were extremely knowledgeable and helpful on some of the rocky areas. Beautiful area to visit.
Thank you, Monica! We’re so glad you enjoyed the Waterfall Wonders Hiking Tour. Our guides love sharing the area with guests, and we’re happy they were able to help you navigate some of the rocky sections along the way. We appreciate you joining us and hope to adventure with you again!
Fun tour with unhurried hikes to waterfalls. Guided Abadan’s Brandon provided lots of fun facts about the tress and history of the park. First stop lasted a few hours and hike was not very challenging and was very shaded by trees to keep it cool. Second stop was definite scrambling to get to waterfall and was very crowded. Recommend bathing suit, towel and water shoes at it is very rocky. Water is very refreshing. Brewery was nothing special for lunch.
Thank you for joining us on the Waterfall Wonders Hiking Tour and for sharing such thoughtful feedback! We’re glad you enjoyed the relaxed pace, beautiful waterfalls, and Brandon and Ava's fun facts about the trees and history of the area. We’ll also take your notes about the second waterfall and brewery stop into consideration as we continue improving the experience. We appreciate the recommendation and hope to have you back for another adventure!
The hike was fun. We were with Brandon and Ava. The hike was more moderate level than beginner at times, especially at Rutledge Falls. Water shoes are an absolute must for this hike if you’re swimming, no doubt about it. I think they should try and make that mandatory and tell you far in advance via email so you can prepare. There were times that Brandon and Ava were walking with each other up front ahead of the entire group, I would’ve thought it had been safer and more interactive with the entire group if one was in front and one was in back. There were times they sped through some of the hike and I was getting left behind a little. Also, the water and snacks weren’t really offered out, you had to ask for them, so that’s a little awkward lol. I think it would be better if an announcement was made saying I have food and water please ask me for any of it at any time. When we stopped for a snack the guides ate snacks they brought for themselves but didn’t offer anything to my smaller group, which I thought light snacks and water was part of the experience. Some of the conversations leaned a little political in the sense of discussion of sustainability, environmental policies, data centers, etc. which was awkward since people can have strong conflicting views on those topics. The transportation there and back was nice, and the car was very roomy. Towels were offered for the swimming portion and Ava was always happy to take pictures for my group, she offered many times which was very very nice. They also had a lot of rich facts about the history of where we were and towns we were driving through, I thought that really enhanced the experience and made it more enjoyable. Overall, it was a fun excursion but they did mention this is a newer one and I think it shows a little. Some more organization and standardization in the guide and hike I think would make the experience a 10/10.
Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed and constructive feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the waterfalls, transportation, scenery, and the historical context Brandon and Ava provided throughout the day. We’re sorry that parts of the experience felt less organized than they should have. Your feedback about guide positioning, maintaining a consistent group pace, proactively offering water and snacks, and setting clearer expectations about footwear is very helpful. We’ll be reviewing these points with our team as we continue to refine this newer tour. We also appreciate your feedback regarding conversations around environmental topics. Our mission includes environmental stewardship, but we agree that guides should be mindful of keeping those discussions welcoming and appropriate for a diverse group. We’re especially glad to hear that Ava was helpful with photos and that the towels, transportation, and local history added to your experience. Thank you again for helping us identify areas where we can make the tour more consistent and enjoyable for everyone.

This was a excellent way to spend a day outside of the city. The communication with the owner, Jordan, was great. He has hired some wonderful guides. We had Brandon and Ava. They were personable, easy to talk to, and were knowledgeable of the area. The hike was easy and the waterfalls were pretty. It was peaceful and there were not a lot of tourists there that day. We appreciated that they offered drinks and snacks. The brewery was a good place to stop for lunch. If you like being in nature and want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, we highly recommend this tour.
