We have been to DisneyLand in Anaheim, Disney land and Sea in Tokyo, and now Disney World in Orlando. I have to say that we have vitnessed the drop in the quality of service since our first visit in Anaheim. For the first two visits, we can feel that the cast members at the two Disney lands really wanted to work for Disney and really cared about guests. But this time, you get half really good cast members and half that clearly don't like to work for Disney. I just don't understand why Disney let these people even work at the customer facing roles. After all, this is supposed to be a place where magic happens, right? Here are some real good and bad things we experienced at Disney World. First, the bad things we experienced that gave Disney World a 3-star rating compared with the other two Disney attractions we have visited. 1. Early entry is supposed to be a selling point for Disney hotels. You get 30 minutes ahead of other guests so you can get a couple of rides done before the wait time gets really bad. However, of all 4 parks we visited, none, I mean ZERO, park actually made it worth for the early entry. Our first day was at Epcot; Remy's Ratatouille was closed, Canada Far and Wide was closed, Sorian was closed. So the entire left side of the park was closed. I don't know about the right side because we didn't go that side until early entry hour ran out. So we did not get to ride any ride for this early entry. Our second day was Animal Kingdom. Guess what, Kilimanjaro Safaris was not open; Mount Everest did not open until normal operating hours. So another day of early entry wasted. Our third day was Hollywood Studios. This was the craziest one. When we got in the park, they are announcing many rides not opening, including Slinky Dog, Rock and Roller Coaster, Runaway Railway and a couple of other rides. At one point, exactly half of the park was closed down. People were really angry at Hollywood Studios that day. Another wasted early entry. Our final day was Magic Kingdom. Guess what, we wanted to try Tiana Bayou Adventure, but the only land open for early entry was Tomorrowland, so you don't even get to choose what you want. So we headed to Tomorrowland, and we found out that Space Mountain and Astro Orbiter were also closed. So in Tomorrowland, you get to ride Buzz Light Year or Tron. You can imagine how long the wait lane is when everyone only has two choices...So our last day of early entry was wasted. So, here you go: if you ask me if it is worth it to live in one of the Disney resorts, I will tell you it is not. Go to one of the participating hotels for half the price and double the room space. 2. For the first time ever we experienced some really bad service at Disney parks. This is a huge surprise to me because, as a professor, I have been using Disney as the example of how outstanding corporate culture transfers into employee enthusiasm in my undergraduate classes. This was the most unexpected experience. Here are the situations we had to deal with. In Animal Kingdom. Half of the restaurants/snack stands we visited had bad customer service. The cast members clearly showed an attitude that they don't enjoy working for Disney. This was very surprising. In Hollywood Studios, we had one photographer with a racism attitude. As a minority, we knew this guy obviously didn't like to see us. It is not the first time we experienced this kind of treatment in the USA. The guy was silent the entire time, no communication, just hand gestures to direct us here and there to take the pictures. We really thought that this guy was deaf, so we were even talking about how Disney is good at hiring people with disability. Then a few minutes later, we saw the same guy talking to a white family like Prince Charming. Laughing, jokes, all kinds of photo gestures that we weren't even suggesting. This was the moment when we realized that the guy just wanted to choose a certain race to interact with. Hollywood Studios again, we were in line for Runaway Railway, and the ride broke down. So we got a make-up Lightning Pass to use. A few moments later, we received another one automatically because the Rise of Resistance broke down and our single-lane Lightning Pass turned into a make-up pass. The difference is that the second one gives us a pass to the Rise of Resistance, but the first one doesn't. We asked customer service how to redeem them. We were told that we need to show the passes to the cast at the gate, and they will have to redeem them manually. So later, when the rides were back up. We went to one of the rides and asked the cast member how to redeem the first one but not the second one because we want to save the second one for Rise of Resistance. The guy was really rude and said, " You swipe the card. I said, but the customer service said you need to manually redeem it or it will redeem whichever one comes in first. The guy said: “I don't care, you just swipe the card". I said: "You are not listening. How do I make sure the one that qualifies for the Rise of Resistance gets redeemed first?". He said, "I don't care, you just swipe the card or you wait in standby." So we swiped the cards. Guess what? The one that qualifies for Rise of Resistance was redeemed because that one has higher priority. We had to spend another 30-40 minutes waiting in line for customer service to fix it for us. What a service. This kind of service deserves a bad review in any park, let alone Disney, who are proud of its customer experience. 3. Disney World rides break down very often. Every day we experienced some mechanical issues with at least 2-3 rides. Hollywood Studios was the worst. At one point, half of the park was down. Disney should really spend some money upgrading the rides to make them reliable. Now the good things that you may want to consider for your visit: 1. Everyone we interacted with at Pop Century is so kind and so helpful. Everyone has a welcoming attitude and is so eager to help. I would definitely recommend Pop Century. It is convenient, and you get the most welcoming staff members. 2. The parks are all very interesting. The rides are immersive and well designed when they work. Since we purchased all single- and multi-lane Lightning Passes for all 4 parks, we had time to experience some of the very less popular rides such as "it is a small world". All the rides we experienced are well thought out to bring you a memorable experience. 3. Many of the foods and snacks we purchased at Disney parks are very interesting to taste. My personal favorites are the foods offered in Pandora and Docking Bay 7. They are both alien-themed dining experiences. Yes, even food in Disney World has themes. I mean, who doesn't want to try some blue "worm" noodles or "alien" meats? 4. We love how one app (My Disney Experience App) can take care of everything we need at the park. From ordering food at quick service to booking Lightning Lane; from getting directions to mobile checkout at vendors. This is so convenient.

For 2 months I have been in and around Disney. I stayed at Bay Lake. This is an awesome place to stay. You can walk to MK. Monorail to Epcot. I would rather stay at an Epcot resort since you can walk to 2 parks. Keep in mind the monorail can be unreliable. Bus service is reliable. As far as the parks many rides are very dated. Disney does have some very good newer rides that people love. But they can break down often. There are great dining locations and I recommend the quick service with Coronado being the exception. The upper scale restaurants can be great one time and fall flat the next time. Many of the more expensive restaurants give you the same thing the quick service gives you and just add a bunch of enhancements (sauces etc) The consistent eateries were: abc commissary, Starbucks, backstage in Hollywood. Tiffins at AK. Skippers canteen in MK. Italy and France at Epcot. (Of course most I didn’t try.) The one thing about Disney is the total appeal to the young girls. They love the characters and this can create a priceless memory.
Ale and Compass is a table service restaurant in The Yacht Club Hotel at Walt Disney World, Orlando, Florida. The menu includes seafood and steak items and a limited child's menu. It's "sister" restaurant, Cape May, is located in the The Beach Club Hotel. Both share a footprint adjacent to EPCOT. I ordered a seafood potpie which included a variety of seafood according to the menu in a topless puff pastry. If you are looking for a meal to satisfy your hunger pains after walking through the parks all day, this isn't it. For $34.00 expect to find no more than two pieces of shrimp, two small scallops in a cream sauce with a few peas, carrots and cubes of potatoes thrown in. I never did find the piece of fish that was supposed to be in there. What was there was tasty, I'll give you that, but there wasn't much there for the money. My wife ordered the catch of the day which turned out to be mahi mahi. The entrée was broiled to a crisp and dry as a bone and totally tasteless. The piece of fish was only as large as the "samples" you get at the small kiosks during Food and Wine Festival for $7.00. Again, a hefty price for a small entrée. A few other things. Be prepared to wait for service. We arrived on time for our reservation but had to wait for twenty minutes. After we were seated we waited another 20 minutes before the server recognized us. After we ordered it was another 20 minutes before our order arrived. In all, we waited a total of 60 minutes before we saw any food. Another thing. Remember when you would get a small bread loaf as part of the meal? Well you can forget that. Disney has started something new: for $14.00 you can order a "starter" loaf before the real food arrives. It's not free any more. This is something new throughout many WDW restaurants so be prepared.
Wow!!, from stepping into our lobby on old Port Royal on Carribean Beach Resort, it was totally amazing, from very friendly staff to the amazing facilities, it catered for everything!, a gift shop, full restaurant with Drinks machines,a lovely reception are and staff tocater for your everyneed, it was our 2nd time in the Carribean Beach Resort, and it just gets better & better, With the amazing Skyliners at the end of "Aruba" which take you to Hollywood studios & Epcot, along eith the Disney bus transportation service, Disney worlds your oyster. Our family room was lovely ,ample size & had everything for our 2 weeks stay, the complex is amazing!, Disney world itself has just got better & better our last visit 8 years ago was brilliant, but this was even better, somehow!,somehow!, every park, every ride ,every restaurant & every facility has that perfect Disney world touch you can reply on, its magical from opening your eyes in the morning ,to finally shutting them after a full days fun, every day offers something different, its a must in a lifetime experience, wehad the Disney dining & magic bands which id highly recommend if either as a couple or on family vaccation, from your favorite Disney caracture meet & greets to the high speed coasters, to the breathtaking 1st glimpse of the Disney castle at the bottom of Main street when entering The Magic kingdom,the experience leaves Disney world pumping through your blood, Amazing yet again!, cant wait to get there again,and ive only just left this truly magical place!,
Disney is not treating the people with disabilities fairly and by the law. They denied my daughter, which has autism, a disability pass. They are breaking the law. This is not what Walt Disney would have wanted, the CEO of Disney should be ashamed of himself.

Rooms spacious is beautiful , such as food delicious, is savory flavor ..great service, great atmosphere excellent, best of Walt Disney world resort, located about 20miles southwest of Orlando florid, United State, the happiest place on earth. Before my visit, I need to point out that I have never been a big Disney fan and just wasn’t that bothered about going to Disney World. It isn’t my cup of tea and I’m not a big fan of theme parks. 10 days later…oh my gosh, what an amazing and magical place I have just been too. Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios and Disney Springs are not of this earth! I’ve had the best time ever and it’s not the rides or characters that made me happy, it’s the energy of everyone who is involved. There is no pace like it on this earth. I cried at seeing the Millennium Falcon, The Disney Castle, The Epcot ball and being on the Pandora ride. I am now a Disney convert, I love the music (yes, even it’s a small world and journey into the imagination), I love the Frozen singalong, the muppets show, the lion king show and the river rapids where we got absolutely soaked. Every staff member is friendly, knowledgeable and a credit to Disney. I felt like a kid, adult and more importantly, I got to escape from our day to day world. Somehow we walked 20km a day and put weight on! Well worth it and now off to subscribe to Disney+
Waste of time and money. Waiting in line is endless. Everything is very expensive and not worth it. If you have nothing to do in life go there
