Great tour made difficult for tour guide as individuals kept disappearing. Tour bus airconditioning failed so list time waiting for a nother bus. But the tour itself was good.

This was an incredible all day experience. We were picked up from our hotel by Nic and Alex (the driver) and taken to La Popa. This provided excellent views and we were given background about the social classes while we rode up the hill to La Popa. From there we went to San Felipe Castle which was another worthwhile stop. Here we learned a lot of history of Colombia as well as outside influences. We walked through tunnels and heard about battles that were both lost and won. From there we went to the Walled City and explored outside the Walled City. Nic was fantastic and brought energy and knowledge to our tour. I have been on many tours and appreciated that we were able to personalize this tour to our wants. When my mom had more questions about the history of the government, we were able to spend more time in discussion. When we wanted to stop for a lemonade on the street, Nic guided us to the best vendor. If you want a great day in Cartagena, I highly recommend this experience.

Great tour. You get to know the iconic places of the city. Nica our guide tour was wonderful and took us everywhere!! It was a great experience. Be prepared to walk a lot. Half part of the trip is walking. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes.

It was an amazing experience to go with Jhon throughout the city. Jhon did an incredible job explaining the history of Cartagena and the city. We loved our time and would 100% recommend.

Nic was AMAZING and so accommodating. We had a wonderful day with him learning about Cartagena and Getsemani! Everything was timed perfectly so that we wouldn’t be too hot at each stop.

The tour was great, but it didn't follow the whole itinerary described in the site. According to the site, we were supposed to visit Getsemani by walking for one hour, but our guide kept saying it wasn't included in the packet and then he did just a panoramic view of the neighborhood as if it was an extra. Besides we didn't visit the bóvedas, that were included in the itinerary describe in the site. It seems like it was the company's fault and not the guide. Probably the guide was recently changed and wasn't awhare of the full itinerary described in the site.

We had a wonderful time with Carlos on our private tour.We were very relaxed and learned so much from Carlos about the history of Cartagena and Columbia. He was very attentive and showed us many things we were pleasantly surprised to see.

Cartagena must be seen ! We had a wonderful time on this tour . Carlos has a detailed knowledge of the sites we visited and was genuinely warm and friendly and made the tour a memorable experience. We would definitely recommend this tour!

San Felipe Castle is a good cultural discovery; the convent is more for the view as there is not much to see, and then in the city, we walked in the old district and received some explanations here and there, but the guide would give his explanations and leave immediately, we didn't really have time to take photos. I find the excursion very expensive for what we received, especially considering the price of the entrance ticket to the castle (approximately $12), I did not see the convent. But if you want my opinion, take a taxi or an Uber and you can visit by yourself for one-tenth the price of the excursion.
