We did a private tour concentrating on Diocletian’s Palace. As it was 2 hours our guide was able to go in depth. We then were able to use a self guided walking tour for other sites in Split.
Worth splurging for private. Split is crowded and this allowed a much better experience. Katarina was excellent.

Great, informative history guided walking tour, chosen route to fit my handicap. We saw a lot, we were told a lot of interesting history facts about different times in Split, illustrated with pictures to make it more understandable when standing at the different places. Greatly recommended.
Great tour, doing private was a good decision, we got to speak to our tour guide one on one. It also helped to set the pace as I did the tour pregnant. Our guide was fantastic with lots of knowledge to share.
Katarina was a super knowledgeable tour guide providing the history of Split and the Diocletian Palace. I would definitely recommend her to solo and group travelers
We had a good summary about the origin of the city, a good panorama of the history and how the palace was (with photos and videos brought by the guide), it was really charming. When arriving in Split, first of all, this tour is well worth it. Katarina is a person's love. He spoke English slowly so my fikhos could understand.
The experience was absolutely amazing Ted as he like to be called was outstanding. Being a history teacher that he is, he did a phenomenal job. I would highly recommend him and hope one day to go back and get him again..

Katarina was very knowledgeable and provided really good history and context for the city. It was a very good introduction.
Good amount of time. Good to have a background of information. I typically dislike museums, this was a much more fun way to learn about the area.
