We took an overnight tour from Hurghada to Luxor and back, including a sunrise hot air balloon ride (which is an absolute must). Hassan, our driver, was very considerate we always had a refreshing drink and he drove safely with no speeding or unnecessary honking. Basem, our guide, was like a walking encyclopedia. He answered all our questions thoroughly, and even after 15 years, his passion for Egyptology is clear.
