What an incredible day with George! He is so nice, took us from one end of the island to the other, showing us little villages off the beaten path, scenic viewpoints and hidden locations. He stayed with us long after the tour time would have normally ended, because we were having so much fun, and the VW van vibe is a great laid back way to have the best day in Santorini.
This tour was everything I hoped for. The love and pride our tour guide, George, had for Santorini was evident. He was informative, professional, engaging and made sure that every scheduled option was of interest to us. I would highly recommend this tour and George as your guide.

Had the chance to do the private 4-hour tour with LAES and it was honestly one of the highlights of my time in Santorini. The whole experience felt really personal and different - not your typical tourist thing. George, our driver, was amazing. Super friendly, professional, and really knew the island inside out. He shared so much local insight that you just wouldn’t get on your own. What made it even better is that the LAES team also helped with other parts of my trip - you can tell they really care and know what they’re doing. Felt more like being shown around by friends than a company.

If you want to see the island say yes to this tour! George was very accommodating to us and made our day great. We thoroughly enjoyed our time learning about the island from him. When we come back we will stay at the hotel he manages too!
We had a fantastic time with George, our tour guide! He starting by asking us what we were looking to see and know more about, if we had any ideas of our own. There were a few things we had heard about and were interested in, but also asked him to give us some recommendations. He made some amazing suggestions and was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the island. There is no way that we could see everything in one day, so after the tour suggested some things we may want to see and do in our following days on Santorini Island. He even recommended one of his preferred companies for a Catamaran cruise around the island and it was perfect! I would definitely recommend this for anyone’s first day on the island.
