The luck was good this time, and there was no rain during the trip, and the weather was nice, but it's a pity that the tour registration didn't allow spaghetti strap dresses, and the pants/skirts had to reach the ankles, so there was no chance to see the scenery from the arm of Jesus. It would have been better to know before setting off. The guide, Sister Xiao Huang, introduced the local culture during the process, which was very thoughtful. Especially helping with taking photos, she composed the shots and took the pictures, which was great 👍🏻

Amazing day trip experience to Vung Tau. Beautiful locations, interesting history. Statue, bones, palace, beach. The 900 steps hike to the Jesus Christ statue was not for the faint hearted especially with the heat and humidity in Vietnam. However, when we got to the top, it was worth the climb. We also went up to the hand of the statue, the view was amazing. To climb up the statue, shoes, hats, and belongings need to be taken off (they provide you with a locker). Then there were the blue whale temple and the story behind the local indigenous belief. We got to see the bones of 18-meter long whale there. Second longest whale of the three whales that they have recovered. The white palace or Bach Dinh and all the history related to French colonialism and the past Kings of Vietnam was very interesting. It was also a good idea to change the stop to the beach to the end of the trip instead of the beginning. It was relaxing and nice to end the trip at the beach. We got to chill and the beach bench. Lunch was great at the nice restaurant by the beach. We were served with oyster fritters, beef salad, squid salad, garlic fried rice, seafood hotpot, iced green tea, and assorted tropical fruits for dessert. They’re all delicious. Our trip was on Oct 2, it was not crowded as it was not high season. All admission fees to each stop and lunch were already included to the tour. Our guide, Vi, was informative and has extensive historical knowledge relevant to the trip. We learned a lot about Vietnam history. She was also friendly and considerate, tending to each person with care. The driver, Phuoc, was punctual and the van was clean, comfortable, and cool. We were picked up at our place. Overall, great experience.
