How you like this tour depends a lot on personality. It is a real crowd scene at the boarding location of all these tours and is overwhelming. That said, I think this company appeared to do better than others at keeping things more orderly for boarding. The buffet has to accommodate quite a few cultures, so that makes it hard to please everyone - the food was okay, but there was no line or flow. It felt like a fight to the finish with everyone crowding all parts at once. The entertainment was average and not very authentic. Mostly western music with a few costumed dancers thrown in. it was fun to see the fireworks on the river.

The Viva Alangka Dinner Cruise was an absolute highlight of our trip to Bangkok! From the moment we stepped aboard, we were treated like royalty. The Cruise was an absolutely amazing experience! The moment we stepped aboard, we were greeted by a warm and friendly staff who made us feel welcome right away. The atmosphere was lively, and the views of Bangkok’s illuminated skyline were breathtaking. The buffet had a great variety of delicious Thai and international dishes, and everything was fresh and well-prepared. The highlight of the night was the cabaret show! Experience for tourists, beautiful outdoor tables but is more likely to find yourself in the indoor room, sometimes even with reduced visibility of the breathtaking exterior. The gastronomic choice remains small and of not high quality.

Absolutely spot on. Loved it. Attentive staff, superb entertainment and an amazing selection of food. Really can't fault it and highly recommend. The only piece of advice would be to make sure you book the TOP DECK as that's where all the entertainment takes place and also gives unobstructed views of the remarkable Bangkok skyline

Do not recommend. Why did our cruise go south to terminal 21, taking us to nowhere instead of following the route and taking us to the grand palace. We saw nothing of the famous landmarks. The food was mid and it was raining the whole time.

Firstly , the staff at the line-up near the pier were not communicative in where the line started or ended . We arrived early and they told us to hang around but ended up being told to go the back of the queue when it was time to board (a queue we were not aware was there for this specific cruise) it felt messy . Secondly , there is no organisation as to tables going to the buffet stations , as soon as the boat ride started , everyone got up at the same time to help themselves and it was really frustrating and tough having to navigate the crowd. They should try to manage that timing a bit better and maybe try to allocate certain rows at a time to come to the station . The music was fairly good although the entertainers (Thai traditional dancers) were BASIC and begged for money at each table... we could not even see the performance from where we were sitting - we had to stand up and go to the front . The food was also below average . One positive is that the staff serving drinks were generally helpful and served with a smile . Many improvements to be made but I would not personally book with this cruise again … I’ve been on a few others that are better value for money in Bangkok .

We strive to provide an enjoyable and entertaining evening for all our guests, and we regret that we fell short in your case. For the queue, as you can appreciate there is more than 1 cruise docking at the pier at any one time so we have to arrange a queue last minute. The buffet is throughout the night and we can not control what times people go up for the food. All you can do is wait till the queue goes down. This is a busy ship with several hundred people on board. Please do ask your waiter for a free table next time as they would happy to move you if space is available. After checking I see there were 27 tables free. Thanks, Paul
Great entertainment After the initial jostling at the buffet, there was an ‘orderly’ delicious meal that was constantly being refilled Tried to get seats up on the deck (A) Bangkok at night! Great! Lots of wow impressions When 5 ships arrive, there are a lot of people who want a taxi We simply entered 150 B more in Grab and we had one That’s how the market economy works 😀 Great evening

We were booked on the top deck and it was spacious enough with great views.The buffet spread was sufficient and delicious with a great choice. We especially loved the abundant fresh giant river prawns. Service was excellent as a waiter was assigned to our table to clear plates and take photographs for us, they made our night. The live entertainment was ongoing throughout the 2 hours. An experience to remember for a very long time!
