Sho -Mr Tokyo Adventures was an absolute vibe, incredibly knowledgeable, and showed us places we would never find or even think of going to. We went to local bars and izakayas and even hidden sake bars. He was so cool and even stayed with us after the tour times and drank with us and told us about more hidden places to visit. He went out of his way to even get us baseball tickets to enjoy our full Tokyo experience. 100/10 would recommend.
Sho was so lovely and personalabe, he asked our preferences of what we wanted to see and took us to local places around tokyo and taught us about the culture and daily life around the city. The food and drinks were just imcredible. Coming all the way from Canada it was an awesome way of seeing this crazy city. I highly recommend Mr. Tokyo :)
Sho was amazing! Took us to spots more locals would know, and gave us great insight into local Tokyo life. Would highly recommend for anyone coming to Shinjuku.
If you want a tour guide that is knowledgeable, fun to be around with, and have a good time with, Sho is your guy! I highly recommend if you are coming to Tokyo for the first time. 6 stars in my book.
My husband and I had a wonderful time with Koki! Happy to say we’ve met a new friend. We had so many lovely conversations and a wonderful memory to look back on. All of the food places and drinks were amazing. I would have never been able to find those places without Koki’s experience. Would highly recommend for a night out!
My best friend and I decided to get a tour guide for some good local eats and drinks on our first night here! We ended up going with Koki and we had the time of our lives I definitely recommend to anyone who wants to drink a lot and explore the shinjuku area!
Mr. Tokyo was absolutely fantastic! He was attentive, entertaining, and incredibly knowledgeable about the area. His engaging personality and local insights made the experience so much more memorable, and he made us feel well taken care of throughout. You can tell he truly enjoys what he does, and that enthusiasm shines through. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide, highly recommend!
Wow, 100000/10!! Thank you so much 😆 I’m really happy to hear that you felt well taken care of throughout the experience and that you enjoyed both the local insights and the atmosphere of the night. I genuinely love sharing Tokyo with people, so hearing that my enthusiasm came through means a lot to me. Thank you again for the amazing recommendation, and I hope to see you back in Japan someday! 🇯🇵 — Mr. Tokyo
Awesome tour with spots we would never find on our own. He walked through touristy spots and then took us to places where locals eat.
Thank you so much! I’m really glad you enjoyed seeing both sides of Shinjuku — the famous tourist areas, but also the local places where people actually eat and drink. That contrast is exactly what I want guests to experience, because Tokyo becomes so much more interesting once you step away from the obvious spots. Thanks again, and I hope we can explore even more hidden places together next time! 🇯🇵 — Mr. Tokyo
Had the best experience on our tour! We tried delicious food & drinks and even visited a shrine. I definitely recommend for anyone who wants a more authentic experience in Tokyo.
Thank you so much! I’m really happy to hear that the experience became one of the highlights of your Tokyo trip. From the food and drinks to visiting the shrine, I’m glad you were able to experience a more authentic side of the city rather than just the usual tourist spots. Thank you for recommending the experience, and I hope to see you back in Tokyo again someday! 🇯🇵 — Mr. Tokyo
We booked this private experience for the same day we arrived in Tokyo, and it ended up being the perfect way to kick off our trip! From the minute we got out of our cab at the meeting point, Sho was right there waiting for us with the biggest smile and incredible energy. We immediately knew we were going to have a great night. What made the experience even more special was how much thought Sho put into making sure my brother’s dietary needs were accommodated without sacrificing the foodie experience. He went out of his way to choose some amazing places where we could all eat, drink, and experience Tokyo together. We walked around Shinjuku, explored the little streets and hidden spots, ate incredible food, had some great drinks, laughed a LOT, and genuinely felt like we were experiencing the city with a friend rather than simply following a tour guide. Sho’s kindness, enthusiasm, and love for sharing Tokyo made the entire evening unforgettable. Sho, thank you for giving us such an amazing welcome to Japan! You absolutely started our trip off with a bang! 🇯🇵❤️
Thank you so much for such a beautiful review! I’m so happy that spending your very first night in Tokyo with me became the perfect way to start your trip. Making sure your brother could fully enjoy the food experience despite his dietary needs was really important to me, so I’m especially glad everyone was able to eat, drink, and experience Tokyo together without feeling like anything was missing. And hearing that it felt more like exploring the city with a friend than following a tour guide means so much to me. That is exactly the kind of experience I want to create. Thank you for all the laughs and for trusting me with your first night in Japan. I hope we get to explore Tokyo together again someday! 🇯🇵 — Sho / Mr. Tokyo
