Amsaa was absolutely great! By far the best tour guide that we had the entire vacation. She was very thorough, knowledgeable, enthusiastic, personable, helpful, sweet and by far the most honest tour guide that we encountered. We learned so much and was so grateful that we booked another tour the next day. She is the only guide who actually gave us a tour and just didn’t walk around with us and we had a great lunch both days. I highly recommend this tour.

It was exceptional! The museum is well laid out, easy to maneuver, roomy for visitors, and displays are informative. We were there for a good 3 hours and could have stayed a month with all they have to explore.

We had an incredible experience exploring Egypt with Mo, and we cannot recommend him highly enough! From the very beginning, when he picked us up at the airport, his warm welcome, genuine kindness, and friendly demeanor made us feel instantly at ease. ​Our time at the Grand Egyptian Museum with him was an absolute highlight. Mo brings a truly rare, insider perspective to Egypt’s history: his mother worked as an archaeologist right near the storage facility where King Tut’s priceless treasures were housed before being moved to the GEM. Growing up surrounded by these artifacts and hearing firsthand stories from the field gave Mo a deep, personal connection to the history he shares. His wealth of knowledge, combined with those unique childhood insights, brought every exhibit to life. ​Beyond his expertise, Mo took the genuine time to get to know us and connect as a family over an authentic lunch with delicious local food. Being younger, he brought a fresh, engaging perspective that our daughter especially appreciated and resonated with. If you are looking for a guide who is not only a brilliant expert but also a wonderful person to spend time with, Mo is as good as it gets!

Our guide Abdallah was fantastic. Fantastic tour of GEM. Be known to us we had lunch booked with the tour but unfortunately we ate before reconnecting with Abdallah. He was so kind to arrange a refund for the lunch missed.

Rasha was an excellent guide! She was quite knowledgeable about Egyptian history, well spoken and kind. She answered all of our questions. I would highly recommend her!

I had an incredible experience visiting the Grand Egyptian Museum, and I couldn’t have asked for a better guide than Basant. She conducted the entire tour in English, and her knowledge of Ancient Egypt and Egyptology was truly impressive. She is extremely intelligent, passionate about history, and has an amazing ability to bring every exhibit to life. As we walked through the museum, she explained the story behind every artifact, every gallery, and every historical detail with so much enthusiasm that the entire visit became much more meaningful and unforgettable. I felt completely comfortable, well guided, and confident throughout the experience. Her expertise made me appreciate Egypt’s history on a much deeper level. Basant was also incredibly kind, patient, and attentive, always making sure I had the best possible experience. After the museum tour, we enjoyed a delicious traditional Egyptian lunch, which was a wonderful way to experience the local culture. She then took me to a fantastic spice market, where I had the opportunity to learn about traditional Egyptian spices and purchase authentic local products. After that, she introduced me to a shop specializing in beautiful Egyptian silk products. Everyone I met was welcoming, respectful, and genuinely hospitable. I never felt pressured to buy anything, and I was even offered great discounts, which made the shopping experience even more enjoyable. Overall, the entire day was exceptional. Basant’s professionalism, knowledge, and kindness made this one of the highlights of my trip to Egypt. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for an unforgettable and enriching experience. Five stars are simply not enough!

Loved the tour! Saleh was very anmicabl and funny. He reached out the night before, arranged meeting spot and was prompt. The tour was great and I also enjoyed casual conversations about Egypt, daily life, and culture. Pick up and drop off were seamless and lunch at a local restaurant was very good. Would definitely book again.

Basem our guide was great. He was informative and delightful to speak to and listen to. The driver was super amazing and the car was spacious and well airconditioned! The museum is so big that I recommend booking a 2 day tour to be able to see it all. Do ask for Basem because you won't regret it.... he made us feel like we where in the past.

The museum was thrilled to see so many rare things. The guide's explanation was also easy to understand.
