We had a good time on this tour. Our guide, Ahmed Aziz, was very informative and kept us well entertained. We were also not rushed through the itinerary and given reasonable time to enjoy the sights. Our guide was very patient to answer our questions as well. I would definitely recommend this operator for this tour.

Can’t recommend this tour enough, it was wonderful. Everyone goes to the great pyramids (as you should) but it is great to see some of the first pyramids so you can see the evolution. They are also guitar which makes you feel more connected. Our guide Ahmed was exceptional, very knowledgeable providing insights and telling us the history of each location. We were never rushed, allowing us to spend time the in the areas that held the most interest, he really made the tour feel like it was custom made for us. Our driver Shady was also fantastic. He arrived right on time and provided us with insights and commentary throughout the drive. Both Shady and Ahmed made us feel not only at ease, but like we were friends they were enjoying a day with. Don’t hesitate, book this tour you won’t regret it!

Ahmed provided us with an excellent experience from beginning to end. He was polite, professional, knowledgeable, and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our time with him. One of the things we appreciated most about Ahmed was his patience and flexibility. He allowed us to experience everything at our own pace rather than making the tour feel rushed or overly scheduled. We had time to enjoy the sights, ask questions, take pictures, and really take in the experience. That relaxed approach, combined with Ahmed’s knowledge and welcoming personality, made the day incredibly enjoyable. Having a guide who makes you feel comfortable can make such a difference when visiting another country, and Ahmed did exactly that for us. I would gladly recommend him to anyone looking for a professional, friendly, and accommodating guide in Egypt. Definitely a five-star experience!

Our trip to Saqqara, Memphis and Dahshur was exceptional, and a big part of that was our driver, Shadi, and our guide, Ahmed. Shadi was an excellent driver - safe, smooth, and on time. He kept things comfortable and even entertained us with jokes along the way. Ahmed, our guide, truly impressed us. His knowledge of ancient Egyptian history, especially about the pyramids as a prequel to the Giza pyramids, was deep and engaging. Every question we asked, he had a clear, insightful answer and he added fascinating perspectives we wouldn't have thought of. He also gave us plenty of time at each site. Highly recommend both Shadi and Ahmed for a smooth, informative and thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Really enjoyed the trip. Driver listened to your needs. We had enough time at each stop. Raafat was our driver and he was super fun!

We Spent the day with Raafat as driver who was excellent, drove safe. Got picked up at 8am and returned at 2.30pm. We made in that order: - Giza exploration (papyrus museum, cotton museum, farmer something, perfume something and another stone related something) which took around 1.5/2hr very unnecessary in my opinion, papyrus took 5 minutes which was interesting but they bring you in a glow room where they did put fluorescent at dark on papyrus - this is almost ridiculous honestly; rest of the “visits” were just people wanting to sell you things. I know it’s part of the game but I didn’t book for this. - Saqqara complex: because of the above we arrived quite late and it was hotter than I would have wanted. This part is super interesting in terms of culture and history. - Stop at a carpet school: similarly as the first point, you learn a bit about 2 methods of crafting carpets but when I asked the people there trying to sell you the carpets about pigments and how many colours were first existing in carpet creation they had no answer to give. - Dashur (Red and Bent pyramid): really helpful and worth seeing as they are the first pyramids built - Memphis is a quick visit but nice to acknowledge in terms of of history too Thanks Raafat for the trip - I recommend him Little note: I would recommend you to bring snacks and water as no stop planned for this even if I’m sure you can ask for stop around if needed.

Very enjoyable experience visiting Saqqara 45 years after my first visit. This time with a great driver and guide team which made for a seamless day trip allowing me to see everything that I wanted. A highly recommended day tour from Cairo.

Thanks to Ahmed for his knowledge of Egypt and the pyramids and monuments of Saqqara, Memphis, and Dahshur. A special thanks also to the driver Shady for his ability to drive in Cairo's intense traffic. The stop at the Papyrus Museum was very pleasant, but the stops at other businesses like carpets, oil, creams, and spices were less pleasant, as they only want to sell to tourists at fairly high prices. Overall, a very interesting experience! Thanks Ahmed and Shady.

I spent the day with Ahmad (guide) and Shaady (driver) visiting Dahshour, Memphis and Saqqara, and honestly, it was one of the highlights of my Egypt trip. I booked the tour through Viator and spoke directly with the owner, Hishaam, beforehand. He confirmed the entire itinerary and that I would be picked up at 7:00am, and everything went smoothly. We started at Dahshour and finished at Saqqara. Ahmad and Shaady were both fantastic — very friendly, energetic and genuinely jolly people. There was plenty of laughter throughout the day, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable rather than like a typical rigid guided tour. Ahmad is a qualified tourist guide and clearly has immense knowledge of Ancient Egyptian history. What I particularly appreciated was that he didn't constantly bombard me with unnecessary information or make up stories just for entertainment. He spoke less, but what he said was on point and meaningful. He knows his stuff. He even explained how many years he had studied the history of the 31 dynasties of Ancient Egypt, and you can really see the depth of knowledge behind what he tells you. At the same time, both Ahmad and Shaady were very cool and easy-going. Nothing felt rushed or overly formal. One of the best highlights of my entire Egypt trip was actually the walk between the pyramids at Dahshour. This wasn't originally part of the itinerary, but I asked Ahmad if we could walk between them, and he happily did it with me. That spontaneous little addition ended up being one of my favourite moments of the day. A big thank you to Ahmad and Shaady for making the day so enjoyable. Two genuinely great guys who I would happily recommend to anyone wanting to explore the ancient sites around Cairo. Thanks again, Ahmad & Shaady! 🙏
