One of the best tours I’ve been on. Well worth every penny. It was very hot in Rome when we visited and having a guide and a separate driver was invaluable. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly and very accommodating when we changed the original itinerary. He took us to a restaurant and helped us to order food off the menu so we would get the full experience. I highly recommend taking this tour so you can see the most amount of Rome that you can.

This was one of the best private tours I have ever taken! If you want to spend the day with an incredible guide and driver, who are super knowledgeable of Rome, this is the tour for you. We couldn't ask for a better experience in seeing all the main sites in a day!
Very thorough tour of the city. Our guide Nicola was very knowledgeable. He was very thoughtful of our needs throughout the tour and Stefani our driver zipped around town for us with ease
The host was not responsive or helpful at all. The booking states the Vatican museum, the Pantheon, and the Colloseum are part of the tour but after booking they said none were possible. I understood there was an alternate to the Vatican since it's closed on Sunday, but gave no reason why the Colloseum and Pantheon were not available. I attempted to work with the host to work out or verify the itinerary even stating I was able to purchase Pantheon tickets online and could adjust it for the best time for our tour. I sent four messages all attempting to coordinate the details of the tour and went completely ignored. I had to contact Viator to cancel the tour and they agreed with full refund due to the unresponsiveness of the host. It was only after I cancelled the tour, 30 minutes prior to the start, that the host decided to message me stating a van was already on the way and that they had tried calling me. I had no missed calls and it makes no sense why they wouldn't just message me back instead. After I cancelled their tour they became very responsive in our messages offering no apology and only seeming to want to start a fight with me. Very unprofessional. I would not trust them to provide a good experience.
Where do we even begin? From start to finish, this was an absolutely exceptional touring experience and one our whole family will be talking about for years. Nicola, our guide, was a standout in every sense. Over the course of a full 8-hour day, he kept us completely engaged with his incredible depth of knowledge, fantastic sense of humor, and genuine warmth. What really set him apart was how intentional he was about including our boys in the conversation. He made the history and the sights come alive for them in a way that was age-appropriate and fun, not just a lecture for the adults. His tidbits about each stop were the kind of insider details you simply won't find in a guidebook. Beyond the sights, Nicola went above and beyond with practical help, recommending the perfect spot for lunch, helping us navigate the menu, and making sure everyone at the table got exactly what they wanted. He also kept a sharp eye on the clock, making sure we departed in time to hit everything on our agenda without feeling rushed. Stefano, our driver, was equally impressive. Professional, personable, and genuinely funny, he made the time between stops a pleasure. He consistently got us as close as humanly possible to each destination, dropping us off and picking us up right at the door, which made a huge difference over the course of a long day. The coordination between Nicola and Stefano was seamless. It was clear they operate as a true team, and it showed in how smoothly the entire day flowed. We would recommend this tour without any hesitation, and our family is already planning to book with them again on our next trip. Five stars, easily.

Very informative and well worth your time! It packs a lot of information and highlights of Rome in an 8 hour tour. You will be tired but if you only have limited time in Rome, this is the way to go. Our guide, Miguel (“Mickie”) was so knowledgeable and well spoken, he made the time fly by!
Stefano and Nicola were a fantastic tour guide duo! Stefano would drive us all around and get us right up close to our destination while Nicola was always by our side as our tour guide. Nicola was more than a tour guide. He was a great historian. He would take us to the front of the line at all our destinations. He would provide detailed history of the locations and of the city while driving between destinations. He was very passionate about Rome history and Art. He navigated you through the masses so that you could see the most important parts of the tour destination. He would always lead you to the best locations that were least crowded for views and pictures. He was easy going and he had a great sense of humor. I would highly recommend this tour.
We had an incredible experience exploring Rome on this eight hour tour. We were picked up right from our cruise ship in Civitavecchia, which made the start of the day seamless. Our driver Stefano was gracious, friendly, knowledgeable, and took care of all the logistics. Our tour guide Mickey was amazing —he was exceptionally knowledgeable, engaging, and full of fascinating insights on every aspect of the places we were seeing. Over the course of the day, we were able to see so many of Rome’s iconic sights. We had such a great day, I would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting a memorable, easy, and well-organized way to discover Rome. I can't recommend Mickey and Stefano enough, they were both so impressive!
