They gave us a whisper earpiece to use, which connected to a guide microphone. The audio was static/feedback when turned up and I couldn’t hear when I turned it down. You’d also have the voice of the guide and background noise coming thru the ear with no earpiece. My daughter had issues hearing as well and said the ear piece was too uncomfortable to wear. We tried to follow along but ended up leaving the tour 30 min in. I passed a few other groups not using these and could hear them well when passing by. Such a disappointing experience for us, I cancelled all my other Italy tours and am going to try the audio guides offered by each venue. Tour guide and staff were great.

Excellent tour guide. Highly recommend yo get the most out of your trip to St. Mark's
Our tickets did not scan for St. Marks and they would not let us in. Our guide apologized and told us that we would be receiving a refund for this portion of the tour. We have not heard anything from them, let alone getting the reimbursement. We were able to get tickets for the Basilica for later in the day through the official website, but unfortunately, it messed up our other plans because we had to come back later in the afternoon. I will be more than happy to give a review of the DOGE tour if and when the company ever acknowledges and reimburses us for the missed Basilica tour.
I would not recommend this your. Lots of up and then steps. Dungeon felt cold and odd. It wasn’t enjoyable. Lots of other things to do there. Imagine all the people who died in the cells. Not for me.

This entire experience was terrific. The check in staff were helpful and thorough. The tour itself was the perfect length and absolutely must do when you visit Venice. Francesca, our tour guide, was maybe our favorite part though. Her English was nearly perfect. She was friendly and knew her history very well. She did a terrific job sticking to a few common themes that were present throughout the tour. She was perfectly on time as well. We’ll never forget this tour and our time in Venice!
