Very private tours and tastings with a small family winery and midsize winery in Montepulciano. Tours were amazing. So was the wine. So was the service. Views were beautiful. Overall great experience and each winery helped us ship a case back to the US. Great half day experience!

This wound up being a private tour for my husband and I. We had a driver take us to 2 difference family owned wineries. It was great learning about both vineyards. About 3 hour tour total.

Each of the producers were different: one was very homey and clearly a family-run vineyard; the other was a bit larger and professional. The tours were amazing and I learned so much about the process and the challenges they faced this year with weather, etc. The food was delicious and the wines amazing. We got to taste 7 wines in total and they were all delicious.

Great tour! We did not book a private tour, but it ended up only being the two of us on the tour. It was a nice air conditioned van which was perfect for a hot day. The driver spoke a little english and pointed out things in the drive as we went along. The first winery was fine, we tasted two wines and ended up purchasing a bottle for 12 euros. We were the only ones on this tour. The second winery was nicer with amazing gardens and pool (it was also an accommodation site), here we tasted 4 wines and some olive oil, and they also served some focaccia. We were joined by two other couples on this tour. The wines to purchase from this winery were more expensive. The experience all up took over 3 hours, and was well worth it as we didn't have a car to travel to the wineries ourselves.

We went on an amazing Montepulciano wine tour organized by Valdichiana Living. Really quite unexpectedly wonderful. Our driver picked us up at 10am and took us to our first stop, Manvi Winery, where Puru Manvi gave us tour of the place, told us his fascinating story and filled us with his passion for wine making. Then there was the tasting — all organic and all outstanding. We bought a case. They have a small b 'n b too which we are considering for the future. Then it was off to the second stop, a windy podere with outstanding wines and charming owner. These are people who are truly committed to making great wines at a small scale — we bought some more! I highly recommend Valdichiana Living if you're looking for a wine tour. I can't remember how long it was supposed to last but we eventually got back to Montepulciano at about 2.45pm, happy after a wonderful day.

The tour and tastings were very interesting. The first vineyard was very small and very good. We enjoyed that immensely. At the second vineyard, our guide seemed and acted very distracted. We had to wait 15-20 minutes for him to finish other duties and during the tasting, he had to come and go several times.

Alfonso our driver was spectacular. Loved every minute of this tour/tasting. So gorgeous. We ended up having a private tour which was marvelous

Note that this "Tour" does not include a tour guide. What it is is simply a taxi ride to two wineries. The first winery was...OK. The second winery was wonderful. Alessandro gave us a personal tasting of their excellent organic and biodynamic wines.

We loved the private tour that we received at both wineries. Each of the wineries were smaller, family owned wineries, but created different wines using different practices. This tour was a great way to learn about the heritage of Tuscan wineries and to walk the vineyards. We appreciated the time they spent with us and we felt very welcome. Although the driver was very polite, he didn't speak any English so we were unable to ask any questions about the area.

Amazing producers and wineries to visit. Very welcoming and gorgeous views of the region… worth every penny. Driver picks you up and off you go!
