Fantastic! Close encounter with humpbacks was a thrill, orcas and sea lions were a bonus.

I went on a specialty birdwatching trip to Smith Island in August 2026, to see tufted puffins. We were joined by two expert birders/naturalists, who took pleasure in educating us about every species of bird we saw. Everything was great! Highly recommend.

The crew was super knowledgeable about all wild life seen on this trip. They were able to get us out to see two families of Orcas, which has been a bucket list item for me for years! I would happily come back myself or recommend this group to anyone looking to go!

What a fantastic tour with experienced and knowledgeable guides! Extremely safety conscious and respectful of the natural habitats. We loved seeing the playful orcas, sea lions, sea otter and a bald eagle! Many thanks to Captain Evan, Sam, Ciao and Tom, who provided fascinating insights into the behaviour of the marine wildlife. What an absolutely incredible experience with Eagle Wing Tours! This was genuinely one of the highlights of our entire trip and something our family will never forget. We were incredibly lucky to spend around 40 minutes watching a pod of approximately seven orcas, as well as getting a glimpse of a humpback whale and seeing lots of seals. Seeing orcas in the wild was a huge bucket list experience for me, and it completely lived up to everything I'd hoped it would be! The whole Eagle Wing team were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Rod, Jo, Ryleigh and Derek were knowledgeable, friendly, welcoming and clearly passionate about the wildlife and environment. We learned so much throughout the trip, and their professionalism and focus on everyone's safety made us feel completely looked after at all times. A special mention has to go to Derek, who was absolutely hilarious and kept us entertained throughout! 😂 The whole crew struck the perfect balance between being informative, professional and genuinely fun to spend the morning with. You obviously can never guarantee what you'll see when you're looking for wildlife in its natural habitat, but regardless, I couldn't recommend Eagle Wing highly enough. The fact that we were treated to such an incredible encounter with the orcas was the icing on the cake. Thank you Rod, Jo, Ryleigh and Derek for giving our family a morning we'll be talking about for years. An absolutely unforgettable experience. 🐋❤️

We had a fantastic morning whale watching with our crew Derrick Kyle Hannah and captain Joe. It was the best whale watching experience I have had. Captain Joe found us two Humpback whales a family of Orcas a bald eagle and lots of seals and seal lions. The staff were so knowledgeable it made for a great experience

My husband and I booked the 4 hour extended whale watching tour on the Serengeti for a morning during our vacation to Victoria and it was amazing! Our guide, Lily, was so knowledgeable and took us all over the Salish Sea. We saw 3 humpback whales and a load of seals and sea lions. It was easily the best part of our trip. We will absolutely book again with Eagle Wing on our next trip back.
