Entrance inaccessible immediately Existing tickets? Hence loss and waiting 30 minutes before being able to return There was only one hour left to discover Vesuvius
All information from Viator gave the incorrect meeting point which led to some confusion and meant we nearly missed the trip ! It was not really a tour, unlike other tours. It was essentially just a bus ride there and back. There was no archeological guide at Vesuvius which was mentioned in the tour description.

We would also like to clarify an important point: as stated in the tour description, this experience is a day trip and not a guided tour. It includes round-trip transportation, approximately 2 hours of free time on Vesuvius, and—most importantly—the guaranteed entrance ticket, which can often be difficult to find, especially on busy days. We take care of securing the tickets for all our guests so that they can enjoy the visit without worries. Well organised trip. The Tour Guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. We were lucky with weather that day and view on Naples and sea side was great. Admission fee was included in trip price. Our group was nice and small - 15 people

Great experience! I booked this excursion to Vesuvius and was very satisfied! Efficient Service , punctual Bus Service , entrance to the Gran Cono of Vesuvius guaranteed , everything perfect! We went to From Naples: Day Trip to Mt. Vesuvius with Alpine Guide. Our bus driver promptly arrived at 1:00 and picked us up at our meeting point. The bus driver did not speak English. We stopped and picked up one group before heading for Mt. Vesuvius. There was a lady that jumped on at the second stop and she checked our tickets. She spoke limited English and did not understand our questions. On my Get Your Guide vouchers, it says that the tour is given in English. There was not a tour. We were dropped off and left to our own devices to hike Mt. Vesuvius on our own. There was no one there to guide us, show us where to go, what to do, or answer our questions. There was no alpine guide to give us information about Mt. Vesuvius. The only direction given to us was to be back at the bus at 4:30. There was no live alpine tour guide as promised. This tour did not at all fit the description that was given on Get Your Guide. There was not even anyone we could communicate with in English. Save your money. You can do this “tour” on your own at a fraction of the cost.

The booking you made did not include a private English-speaking driver, but rather transportation by bus and an entrance ticket to Mount Vesuvius. The alpine guide is provided exclusively by the Vesuvius National Park Authority. This is not a private guide, but an expert who welcomes groups of visitors at scheduled times set by the park. We recommend our excursion for this very reason: we guarantee both a reserved seat on the bus and the entrance ticket to Mount Vesuvius, which is often difficult to obtain independently. Great experience , efficient transport and free time to make the climb to the crater is right , the mountain guide we met at the crater was helpful and exhaustive in telling us about the transformations of the volcano .Recommended!

OH my gosh ... I don't know where to start! First of all our driver went over and above to pick us up and get us situated into the park. The hike was unbelievable. One of our favorite activities while we were on our cruise. Hiking to the top of Mount Vesuvius was a once in the lifetime events. The weather was a little cold and windy ... but clear. We could see everything from on top. THANK YOU for making it such a great event!
Excellent driver! On time, right where they said he would be. Drive us to the end of the road halfway up Vesuvius, and the rest was our hike. Breathtaking. He picked us up on time and took us back to the meeting point. Highly recommend!
The meet up was poorly described. We thought we were meeting a Guide and not a bus. If I had not texted, we Would have missed the whole tour. I think the price was high. Better To just take a cab to Vesuvius.
Never sh and claimedowed up then lied and claimed they were there...hour in the pouring rain! Aweful!!!! Company lies Vaitor supports....ruined last day of vaca....will fight it out with credit card co
