ヴェローナの重要なローマの家族である gens Gavia の栄光を祝う、ローマの建築家 Vitruvio のエレガントな西暦 1 世紀の建造物です。
アウグストゥス時代の紀元 1 世紀にローマ人によって建設されました。今日でもアリーナは、ヴェローナの壮大なオペラ シーズンの舞台として有名です。
シェイクスピア悲劇の有名な主人公が住んでいたカプレティの家の中庭が見えます。
ロミオの家は、ヴェローナの中心部にある中世の宮殿です。 14 世紀初頭まで、伝説や文献によるとロミオの家族であったモンテッキ家の家でした。建物は私有地であり、人が住んでおり、外からしか見ることができません。
ヴェローナで最大の広場で、数多くのカフェやレストラン、いくつかの魅力的な建物が並んでいます
スカリゲリ墓地です。いくつかの石棺に加えて、カングランデ 1 世、マスティーノ 2 世、カンシニョーリオのために建てられた 3 つの素晴らしいアーチがあります。
ローマ時代の都市生活の中心地であったフォーラムです。広場の中心には、ヴェローナのさまざまな支配者を象徴するモニュメントがあります。最も有名なのは、スカリゲリの支配下に建てられた噴水です。
シニョーリ広場はかつてヴェローナの権力の中心地でした。有名なイタリアの詩人ダンテ アリギエーリの大きな像が 1865 年以来広場を支配しており、この広場に「ダンテ広場」という愛称が付けられました。

It was difficult to understand the tour guide who was Italian and gave the tour in English. He showed us basic historical sites with a little explanation. You could probably read up on sites to see on your own.

Guide never showed up to the walking tour. Called the office after 15 minutes of waiting, they stated the person had an emergency. It would have been nice for the office to let us know so that we didn’t have to travel to the city for nothing.
